Sweet stuff Atari Creep! Well, I would not of thought of it but since you brought it up I guess I DO have some Atari related artwork and it was even done back in the day when Atari 2600 was still selling. Basically, me and a friend use to make our comics and though they were not very good we tried to make them as much like the real thing as possible and with that in mind here is an "advertisement" I created - SCHOOL ESCAPE for the Atari 2600

School Escape, in it you try to get my friend GORD to school without him running into any diversions, he liked to skip school LOL!
Pretty much you controlled me Gord in the game trying to make it from his house to the school while avoiding various temptations and obstacles along the way.

I do not recall all the details but you would have to run from bullies and also avoid being "sucked in" by temptations like the Comic Shop, Ice Cream store or the transit streetcar that whisked you away downtown lol. Those things would draw you in like a tractor beam and yeah truth be told such things were often excuses to skip school in "real life", we were a bad influence on each other

As a bonus years later after I scanned and uploaded the original to Facebook I used Atari online label maker to turn it into a "proper"
    2600 label.

If this is in the wrong location let me know. I will move it!!!!

I held off on posting this here but today figured what the hell! Little known about me is I am an artist and a prop maker. Mainly deal with macabre subjects but once in a while I play around with other stuff, video games are no exception. Now the images are not the greatest and these are no where near my better works but I figured I would share them to see if others would follow. I would LOVE to see other personal works that are gaming related!!!

"What goes up, must come down... Welcome to the story of the Commodore Amiga. This is part 1 of a 2 part documentary exploring the history and story of the mighty Amiga from its conception through to its buyout by Commodore. This episode deals with the "up" part of the story, and takes place during the 1980s. It charts the conception of the Lorraine machine (that would become the first Commodore Amiga), the early years and team spent working on the machine, the buyout of Atari followed by Commodore, the launch of the original Commodore Amiga machine (later renamed the Amiga 1000) and the subsequent Amiga 2000 and Amiga 500 machines which conclude before 1989 is out. In the second part, we'll look at the 1990s, when the Amiga peaked and then fell to its regrettable demise."

Nice tour. The last hotel with a game room I had, had about 8 claw machines and nothing else. Bummer.

The Atari Area 51 game is legit, however the cabinets for that one and the Capcom one are interesting since they are Bally Midway cabinets.

Better Late Than Never ! Last August 12 - 14- We went to Sunpeaks resort for the 7th Annual Sun Peaks Retro Concert Weekend. Upon checking in to the Grand Hotel  did my usual walking around and discovered this quiet and empty little arcade so I just had to do this quick video. I had forgotten all about it as I tend to do once we return from a trip and the excitement wears off. But I was just going through my playlist of various arcades I had filmed when it popped into my head "Hey wait a second, did I ever upload the little Game Room I discovered that weekend at Sunpeaks?" WELL NO I NEVER DID so here it is.  Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Review-g499150-d225458-Reviews-Sun_Peaks_Grand_Hotel_Conference_Centre-Sun_Peaks_British_Columbia.html 3240 Village Way, Sun Peaks, British Columbia V0E 5N0, Canada (Formerly Delta Sun Peaks Resort)

Thanks much appreciated. One thing I love about this forum is the special vibe and feeling of "community" no other site gives me.

With that I would like to show THESE videos I just came across and want to share, now I did NOT create this particular video but it is by a user Daniel Bienvenu aka Newcoleco a amazing ColecoVision Homebrew programmer. We do not communicate much these days but back when I started on Youtube and he was more active on youtube and forums in general he often shouted me out, I reviewed one of his games and we would shout each other out back and forth. He certainly made some surprise videos that always amazed me he took the time to do just as a favour to me.

Flashback 2009, my favourite times on Youtube and back when it felt more like a "community" making friends etc. I was even part of Newcoleco's "Memorable Youtube Moments of 2009", this was early on before I had many subscribers yet people who appreciated my humble videos reached out.

!!!!! NOTE THE VIDEO DOES NOT ALLOW EMBEDDING SO ONCE YOU CLICK IT YOU WILL SEE THE OPTION TO WATCH IT ON YOUTUBE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In THIS one he created an ANIMATION from my Tag Response Blooper Video (The phone rang to deliver a package as I was filming) to me this was one of the nicest and collect things a fellow youtuber ever created for me. He spent 10 hours on it! Notice the Colecovision to the right and the "phone" I pick up is the controller.

I found a YouTube video on this.

It appears to have been an official release.  It was available for other computer consoles as well.  Chances are that your copy had lost its label at one point and someone simply used a label to put their name on it.  But...I could be wrong and you could have a prototype of what I have found.  It's really hard to say as Atari systems have tons of prototypes floating around that never got released or were forgot about...and I'm pretty sure there are some that we have yet to see.

I am glad to see a modern company giving the 2600 attention. I am not big on AtGames in general though. I have a Atari Flashback 2 (by Curt Vendel /Legacy Engineering), the only one but I have none of the rest because from 3 onward they are atgames product and I have no interest personally. To play mobile versions of 2600 titles I prefer to use my JXD s7800b, or even my GPD Q88+ with an atari emulator. I like this much better as I have the option of pretty much ANY 2600 game that has a ROM available but even more important to me especially since my eyes are getting worse is the nice, bright 7" IPS LCD! That is my main problem with so many of these dedicated handhelds for gaming using 5" or even smaller screens. so for all my 8-16bit and Pre-NES gaming I prefer this unit, there are smaller / cheaper options as well but to me an Android device with emulators and built in controls beats any of these AtGames handhelds etc. You might not get the "official" licensed branding but really companies like Atari are nothing more than a license anyway. I will take the bigger screen and option to play entire libraries any day! Maybe I will do a counter video "Why I've no interest in Atgames 2600 Portable!  !" Here are stock pictures of the JXD s7800b as an example. Now I know some will say "But Rob that is hardley as portable!" I suppose but I really don't game "on the go" and really is anyone REALLY using these on the go? Even if I wanted to I got no problem carrying around these devices  I'd rather spare my eyes the eyestrain.
