The first objective should always be to get the extra ball.
Second, clear the diamonds to boost the bumper values to 900.
    Third, spam the bonus lane.
    Pardon the cat.

@Dinobot711 I love the composition of the photo -- the TV, consoles, shelves, controller, games, and the beverage. It's just a very comforting shot.

    Almost rolled the score!
Actually I'm kind of happy I didn't. I'm playing on my 3DS and I wasn't looking forward to having to play through viewfinder 😆
About half of my score came from a single ball where I rolled through the bonus lane a ton. Gotta love that nudge!

You guys are posting scores that are out of this world! 🚀 I'm trying to up my game and have been reading through all your pro-tips, and gave No Swear Gamer's review another watch to pick up some of his strategy. I'm practicing and putting these tips to good use, but I've only been able to increase my score by a few thousand points. I have a feeling this super basic Atari VCS game could end up giving us our widest spread of high scores at the end of this challenge. I can barely break 25,000 on an average game, some of you are rolling past one million points! What a rush.
    My High Score: 53,147

After some effort, I managed to break into 6 digits! It's probably been at least 15 years since I used this cartridge. I wasn't the biggest fan, but it's grown on me a little, now. I like how nudging works, and the physics on the flippers isn't bad. The spinners still really annoy me, though.

I made my Demon Attack video a little late for the contest, so I didn't post it here, but I've compared emulation to OG Hardware again for this Video Pinball challenge.....and let's just say, there is NO comparison between the two...

I made a video, but the resolution is way too low.  Furthermore, @Papa Pete's video above shows you all you need to know.

83,948 points. I am starting to get the hang of this one. I should play on real hardware. I always seem to do better with it, no matter what the game.

Disregard that first time; I did it on the wrong difficulty by mistake.
Here’s my first REAL run. It was a little sloppy and I did a little pinballing on the edges. I think I can do better, but I’m not confident in my ability to win! Still love the game though.

Welcome to our 94th Squad Challenge! This year we're celebrating the holidays and bringing in the new year with the Big Blue circuit in F-ZERO on Super Nintendo, a true SNES classic! I have wonderful Christmas memories of F-ZERO, I received the game with my SNES when I was not expecting much of anything for Christmas  The game brought my family a lot of fun and joy that Christmas, and I love playing F-ZERO around Christmas. It's been a bit of a Christmas tradition in my house for years, and now it's become a tradition every year in the forums too, something special I like to share with all of you. 🎄 F-ZERO is one of the iconic titles on Super Nintendo, and it served as a great demonstration of the Super Nintendo's Mode 7 graphics. F-ZERO was a predecessor to anti-gravity racing league games such as Wipeout that would follow in coming generations of gaming. PDF F-ZERO Instruction Booklet is attached below. Good luck!

NOTE: We're ringing in the New Year right, with an Atari 2600 Squad Challenge! Be there!

Welcome to our 93rd Squad Challenge, and our VERY FIRST EVER ATARI JAGUAR SQUAD CHALLENGE! We break the ice with one of the Atari I/O Team's favorite games to play at Christmas time, Cybermorph, the original pack-in game for the Atari Jaguar. Nothing gets me ready for winter like the sound of Cybermorph, the crackle of logs in the fireplace, making holiday meals, and hearing DS9 coming on TV in the other room. @btbfilms76 hosted a Holiday Special featuring Cybermorph which we will share below as an introduction to the game. Begin your game with the Default "Select Destination" Screen, which uses Access Code 1008. You can start with any world on that screen you'd like, and play through the worlds in any order you choose. Cybermorph was developed alongside the Atari Jaguar (and initially Atari Panther) and was released in 1993. For many gamers, Mario 64 was their first introduction to a 3-D open world. For those of us who grew up with the Jaguar through, we got to experience this three years earlier with Cybermorph. We just had two Squad Challenges in a row which introduced us to MAME and required us to get our Emulation setups in order. It wasn't easy, but we did it! Playing our first Squad Challenge on Atari Jaguar is going to be a similar experience. The Jag isn't as common as, say the 2600, and emulation support is essentially non-existent. It may be difficult for some of you to join in this Squad Challenge and participation may be lower than we'd like. But for those of you with an Atari Jaguar, Cybermorph is one of the most common games released for the system, so we're playing a game that most Jaguar players will have already gotten their paws on. Instructions are provided below. Good luck to everybody participating! Where did you learn to fly?

NOTE: Our next Squad Challenge will be the 2020 F-ZERO Christmas Challenge for Super Nintendo! Be there!
