Tomorrow Wrestlemania 40!

Almost new carts I got today. Popped Mario Cart in first and got to level 24 and 226,300. I never got anywhere close to that at any version of Mario Bros in my life.

Got a great deal on all this. Think I may have overpaid for Shark Attack? It has the sticker on the spine, but no main label, it works and plays well, paid $7.

Well, the new machine arrived today.  Much to my chagrin, the DVD drive is an external drive that is connected via USB.  I'll have to find a way to set it on the top part of the machine.  Maybe I'll use velcro.

Well, the time has come to replace my desktop computer.  I have stretched its life as much as possible but no the DVD drive doesn't work, none of the USB ports work, it freezes when I try to copy and paste files...  I had not realized how old this machine was!  I've had it since 2011!  I believe it has provided me with good service for 13 years! 
So, I just ordered a new monster computer from Dell.  I9 processor, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB hard in two hard drives, liquid cooling...the works.  Hopefully it lasts as long as this one!  LOL  I did get the extended warranty for the next 4 years.  The one thing I hate is having to transfer data from one computer to the other.  Thankfully, most of my stuff is backed up online, so that will make it easier to restore files.  But setting up programs is going to be a PITA!!!!  Wish me luck!

just got a nice screen protector for my iPad mini. After taking about 40 min to assure no air bubbles or dust were present I managed to apply it, very pleased with result. Best of all with the stylus has a little drag now and matte finish so not so smooth like on glass, feels more like paper. Tested to make sure, hey I’m no pro but it’s honest art at least 😛to be fair I used the simplest drawing program, no layers or magnification, literally the same as drawing with colored pencils so I am pleased. At least I can make something without a reference. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Picked up Fast Food, Barnstorming and Tac Scan today.

Picked these up out in the wild all for $12. They all work on the OG system, they also work on the Retron 77 and the 2600+

The copy of Mountain King I got with an untested bundle last week wouldn't work on the 2600+ , it's on the Untested list. I tried it on the Retron and no luck. Indy 500 works on the Retron77, but the driving paddle doesn't. The button press works but not the paddle itself. But it works perfectly on the OG system. I like Indy 500, lots of variations to play on it.

It's 10:07 pm, as midnight approaches THIS is the face of man about to turn 56! Muh birthday 🤷‍♂️😝More than ever I am happy and appreciate the little things, a good meal, a nice drink, indulging in hobbies and appreciating friends and family.

😎 At my age for my birthday I asked only for a nice craft beer to go with a nice dinner. Had steak and mushrooms for dinner and got 3 cool beers😆 don’t drink much these days but it’s a nice surprise on my birthday and a treat. And for a snack one damn hot Pepperoni stick!

🏴‍☠️ BIG reminder that each account is allotted 10MB of space for uploads, attachments, pics etc. so use your space wisely. Deleting large attachments when you’re done with them is a good way to clean up room.

While I halted mentioning celebrity passings some time ago I would be remiss to NOT mention the passing of this legend! Carl Weathers, Rocky and Predator actor, dies aged 76. Stallone will take this HARD. So long ACTION JACKSON! 
 

We had to get out before the rain, so we headed to the local botanical garden. I like the otherworldly cactus section.

More games leaving my collection -- tonight, these are going to the same two ladies who bought a bunch of my PS1 and PS2 games. I had no intentions of selling Xbox 360 games, but I know these ladies will give them a good home, so I decided to let them go. I love Xbox 360 and PS3 games. From a graphics perspective, I think it's perfect and the games have aged very well for the most part. I still play Halo Reach.
I did pull one game that was on their list -- Blue Dragon. I had to keep it as a keepsake. I bought it from the company store when I worked at Microsoft. The do not sell sticker on the game box has my employee number on it.
I really need to stop dragging my feet and just take my stuff to Pink Gorilla.
