I suggest that you start out by playing Star Wars Jedi Arena first. It's pretty bad as far as paddle games go so it will help you enjoy the other titles LOL. Then I would play some of the better paddle games like Super Breakout, Circus Atari and Kaboom!😁

So far super breakout and Kaboom are catching my attention! But ill try the star-wars one first. Im on my lunch break at work just nerding out looking at gameplay videos on YouTube.:berzerk:

  2. @RickR Ill test them out when I get home from work. Im pretty comfortable taking things apart. So ill check it out. I wish i had started my Youtube sooner because, ive taken and rebuilt all sorts of consoles and retro items. I recently Modded a Jvc boom box  from 83’ to play blue tooth music from my phone and added a rechargeable internal battery.   Im planning on making an episode over it soon.

You’re going to want to clean those if you haven’t used them yet! Not a hard process, and it’s worth it. Paddles are the number one reason to own a real 2600.

I personally recommend Kaboom!, Night Driver, Circus Atari, both Breakouts, and all the rest. Street Racer is surprisingly fun with friends. Canyon Bomber is one of my personal favorites, too!

I am planning on doing a Paddle Games edition of Atari Night soon. You’re welcome to use footage from that in a video if you wish, since I know you don’t have a capture device quite yet (whenever it comes out of course. I’m thinking sometime next week. Episode 2 will be 7800 games most likely).

Again, good luck on your Atari journey!

@HDN Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate your offer! Im definitely gonna give these bad boys a cleaning, they are filthy! Also I was wondering  More just for collecting and playing them myself purposes😂 ill look into your suggestions and let you know what i think!

Well, first off, welcome to Atari.io. Second, I have those controllers. I have played Breakout, Super Breakout, Night Driver, and I think Demons to Diamonds. I also love playing Kaboom with them. They're actually pretty good controllers. They also have decent response time with paddle games. Kaboom is one of my favorite paddle games.

@DegasElite Thanks, pleasure to be here! Im going to look into your suggestions! Im trying to beef up my Atari collection to begin with, so this is the perfect opportunity! I also have 2 paddle sets for some reason.😂

  7. @MaximumRD I cant even express how thankful I am for that feedback! The fact that you even took the time to break it all down just baffles me! I didn’t expect anyone to really notice my post or video. But this Community has been nothing but nice and positive towards me! I aim to only post quality videos that get to the point, even if  its just 5 minutes or longer, whatever it takes to feel like a complete product.  I honestly filmed that video with hundreds of takes because I caught myself not being myself. So what you see in the video is the real me. I felt a little awkward but i started to get more and comfort As the video progressed. Once again thank you! Have a great rest of your day!
