I was one of the many who used the "we're sorry the black EXP got so delayed" Funstock coupon on the Atomic Edition preorder - that was June 1st. Only four days after receiving the shipping notification from Great Britain, it showed up at my door in Montana (wow!). Haven't tried a single one of the titles from any of these three other carts here; should make for a pretty fun little gaming session when I get to 'em!

On the topic of rough boxes, here's a feeBay purchase that came in the mail yesterday. Another title I haven't previously tried; it's come up in several books I've recently read and has been mentioned several times in the Atari discords amongst all the 2600+ excitement!

Just finished watching a trailer for The Invincible - looks pretty good! Thanks for sharing the recommendation. Open worlds certainly aren't a requirement for a good game 🙂

Your list includes a couple titles that have been on my radar for years, but still haven’t yet dug into! How are you liking No Man’s Sky? It captured me HARD when I tried it (two years ago now, so didn’t include Echoes at the time). Had me for three straight months, ha. The seamless interplanetary travel is incredible! My recently dabbled “modern” games are Starfield and Mario Wonder. I’m a statistic, I know, ha. About 1/3rd through the new Haunted House game, and regularly perform failing runs with Noita. I watch the lady play Lies of P - that’s an intriguing game to see, but the gameplay is above my ability levels, ha!

...I keep checking back here for any updates on the physical print rumors... 😁

Not sure exactly when, but noticed this morning that the aforementioned Dark Chambers cart is now marked "sold out". For being limited to 500 copies, it took nearly two weeks. As opposed to Save Mary's limited release, I think that was closer to 12 hours? Hmmm part of me wonders if Atari simply marked the Dark Chambers as "sold out" to save some dignity in the face of lack-of-interest? Ha.
