This is true -- the further you get, the scores seem to ramp up. I mean to say higher bonuses and such as you get further along.

Once you break 10,000 your score will quickly slide up to 15,000-17,000 and then if you can break 20,000 you'll be on your way to 30,000. It's surprising. Stick with it

Yeah I like the horizontal moving waves MUCH more than the vertical moving waves. the first vertical moving wave seems a bit more challenging over the next few like they are anticipating your shots to dodge them. If you don't put a break in a column it would be really tough to complete the screen, so at least try to get the bottom 3
Your ships missiles DON'T have an affect on the energy drain so I'd encourage constant firing 😉 If those guys would have not worried about that and fired at the escape pod in Star Wars IV with the droids aboard their side would have won.

Here is my (non impressive) score so far of 7,550. I have been playing this game for days now and still haven't been able to break 8,000! 😣 Everything goes well until the second phase, and then I start losing lives. I just can't seem to get it down, but I will keep working on improving!

Anyone else notice the sounds of getting hit and recharging are the same as the ones used in Cosmic Ark? I'm sure there are plenty of other instances of this. LOL. I do love Cosmic Ark though.

200,180. The last two lives lost were the result of highway robbery by the game itself. That's the nicest way I can describe it without getting an admin warning lol. Wow.

greenween reacted to Justin in Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! - Secrets, Codes & Intel
I recently stumbled upon these terrific documentaries from NESComplex. Over the last two weeks I've shared what is in my opinion are some of the greatest NES videos on YouTube covering the inception of Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda - next let's check out the incredible story of how Metroid came into being and was designed to be as different from Super Mario Bros. as possible! This video contains nearly 90 unique Secrets, Codes, Glitches, Development Stories, and bits of Forgotten Lore about one of the most beloved NES games of all time: Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Famicom. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. I will be sharing more in the future:

I loved this game as a kid.
I gave it go for the Challenge using OpenEmu & the keyboard. 86,860. I'll try to improve on this but it's unlikely given that I haven't played since I was a kid LOL

And finally, here are the gifts that Willie got for me. Willie, I am so grateful. THANK YOU.
A beautiful boxed copy of Pete Rose Baseball for 2600. Lock n Chase for the Colecovision! I'll bet this is the copy you used in your review! I'm going to keep it forever. I love the ArcadeUSA channel so much. A hilarious door hanger. Oh my! THANK YOU, @Willie!. And thank you Atari.io, @Justin, and this great community.
