  1. Not Moon Patrol. However, here's a hint: It is a two-word title.
  2. I'm not sure if we have any other basketball fans here...but NBA2K21 is FREE today on the Epic Games app.  Featuring Blazer great Damian Lillard on the cover.

  3. Yes! I thought this was exclusive to the 3DO (or was it the CDi?)
  4. I don't know the library well, and this is probably too easy. But I'm amazed they made this game for the system. Atari Jaguar.
  5. Is it Skyhammer? I don't know the Jaguar library that well. That's one system I really want, but I've never found one for a decent price. I'll keep dreaming and looking.
  6. This brings up a question: What are you guys using for the crop? I'm using a freeware program called "paint.net". It's easy to select an area to crop, then I resize to make sure the smallest dimension is 333 pixels. That's what works for me, but I'm always interested to learn what others do. Maybe something even easier.
  7. A couple of new blog posts today.

  8. That does look pretty spectacular! Off to YouTube to check it out.
  9. More adventures with the Phoenix. One very minor issue that I've had with the Phoenix has been that my retro gaming is done on an old analog TV. Since the Phoenix only has HDMI output (and my TV has no HDMI input), this was a problem. Off to ebay! I found a very inexpensive (less than $10 shipped) HDMI -> AV converter and ordered one. It has arrived, and I've been playing around with it. Summary: it works! It's exactly what I needed. No fuss. Just plug it in, and it works straight away. It works on my other HDMI retro gaming systems as well (Commodore 64 Mini, Sony PS1 Mini, Atari Flashback 9). The picture and sound quality isn't bad at all. It pretty much looks identical to a real Colecovision to me. I didn't notice any lag or any color issues. My advice for anyone that wants to use their Phoenix on a CRT is to buy and try one of these devices. Please note to be careful...they sell devices that convert composite to HDMI, and that's not what you want. Look at the picture of the item and make sure that HDMI is listed as "INPUT" (and not "OUTPUT").
  10. OH! I just tried this game: Super Skweek. Man, the Lynx really had some great games.
  11. Search for "DPC" here: http://www.ataricompendium.com/archives/articles/longevity/longevity.html The DPC chip (co-designed by David Crane) produces the better sounds and also has a random number generator.
  12. I had to wrack my brain for this one, as I know I've seen that color combo before: Hydra.
