  1. Oooh yeah. I've tried that one at PRGE. It's fantastic! We also forgot Indy 500, which is a blast.
  2. I think he's leaning hardware. I hope you're right. So much uncertainty these days. We hope for the best.
  3. You guys are forgetting the very best one: Warlords.
  4. He likes it, and it's been a good fit. And not too far from his folks! Senior year during a pandemic is going to be weird and I feel bad for all kids/people in school during this mess. I'm hoping the job market is good once he's done.
  5. I think I do remember that one. It was yellow with a big red spinning middle. I remember it being kind of like Hungry Hungry Hippos maybe.
  6. WELCOME! I'm down in Portland, but I have a son that goes to school in Seattle.
  7. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said the games are common and cheap. I say buy all you can find and you'll find some hidden gems for sure. You should be able to find most common games for $1 - $5 each. Buy big lots on ebay to get the best deals. I've got a big box of duplicate games that I'd sell cheap if anyone is interested. It's a fun and inexpensive hobby. My favorite 2600 games at this moment: Adventure Demon Attack Star Raiders Berzerk Yars' Revenge Space Invaders Missile Command Asteroids Superman Indy 500
  8. You're kidding, right? Get one! The games are awesome. It's worth it just for Asteroids.
  9. 34,800 (I made it to level 4! A new personal best) Hey @btbfilms76, enter me to win!
  10. Do we just post a shout out comment on your video, or ??? Thanks!
  11. I have never played Trevor McFur. Maybe we should do a challenge on that one soon. As for Cybermorph, I like Star Fox much better. I think Cybermorph looks nice, but to me, it's missing that "fun" factor. Often times, it's just not clear what to do, and there's a lot of backtracking. Star Fox is linear and has huge variety in the levels and some pretty sweet boss battles.
  12. I'm just glad they didn't misspell "SHARK" as "SHART".
  13. "MONTER"! Bonus points for a spelling error.
  14. I've been playing "Cross Force". Thank you for bringing some well-deserved traffic to these here forums!
  15. Lionel! I have no idea where that is.
  16. Another acquisition for the 2600. This one is a very fun shooter

Nice score @RickR!  I'll have to try this one out on Harmony!

I agree that so many games were released once the flood gates of 3rd party publishers opened. Lots of undiscovered games yet to be played. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting game mechanics and quite a challenge to avoid fire top and bottom! I also like the enemy sprites. Not bad at all!

That's what I thought too!  It's really hard to focus on top and bottom, but I feel like with some time and effort, I could get a lot better at it.  Isn't that the mark of a great game?

  17. I also used an emulator. I chose one called "bsnes" and it works very nicely.
  18. I stink at this game, but I'll tell you what...the soundtrack is incredible. It sounds a lot like the background music you used to hear at EPCOT. That's what it reminds me of.
  19. We just watched "Cause and Effect" last night. It's a Star Trek version of "Groundhog Day". Really well done.
