  1. These stories are GOLD , Justin. I'm very much enjoying reading these. Thanks so much.
  2. 3 loose PSP movies for the cost of shipping from a nice fellow on Facebook.
  3. I got: 3 vinyl 45's with sleeves. 80's music I plan to give as a gift. Golden Tee Golf plug and play An atomic wall clock (I love these things...when I see them, I buy them). An HDMI cable on half-off special. (not pictured) 6 LED light bulbs brand new for $3.
  4. I played it last night. It's fun. It's like a "first person" arcade shooter. Reminds me of an arcade game whose name escapes me. First-person and the screen scrolls to the right.... It's not really first person, as your guy is right there in the foreground. Over the shoulder perhaps? Anyways, it's fun. Except the bosses are way too hard. And it would really benefit from a lightgun. This game on the wii would be incredible.
  5. I gotta tell you: the pending demise of Toys R Us is depressing. Times change. Brick and mortar retail seems to be dying.

I was the cage guy lol. It was actually called the cage too. Sometimes the "security cage". I have some pictures from back then, I should probably find them and post them in the forums.

Well, I admit that it will be sad to see TRU go and it was sad to hear the passing of TRU's original founder. However, there appears to be some light on the horizon.

It seems that with TRU going away the original founder of KB Toys is going to start again. So we may be losing TRU but might be gaining back KB Toys. Our country keeps getting worse and worse for the stores that have been around for a very long time.

K-Mart is pretty much gone, Sears is not too far...

  6. I found this one humorous. They labeled it as "Wheel of Fortune Atari Controller 2005 with cables" https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wheel-of-Fortune-Atari-Controller-2005-with-cables/323068511991?hash=item4b386246f7:g:y-sAAOSwc-tY2cuQ
  7. PS - your MP3 files sound great. Nicely done!
  8. Maybe, but I think it may have been a different model. The yellow/red buttons are what set off my memory.
  9. Does this keyboard let you record a short sample? If yes, that's the keyboard I had back in the 80's and absolutely loved it. I need to find one to buy....
  10. ** hint, hint ** I may have put in a loose copy of Buzz Bombers.
  11. Here is what I took: I also took this stuff out, as I could not Tetris all the junk back into the box. I'll get the box off to BTB as soon as I can. Thanks!
  12. The junk box has arrived. I'll post what I took out shortly.
  13. That is an awesome find! I love the Star League sports games. Football is fun, but baseball is even better. PS - for crushed boxes like that, I like to build cardboard forms if at all possible and put them inside the box. It helps straighten out the crushing over time. But it can be tricky to work around any inner sleeves and such.
  14. Those are both really cool. To be honest, I like the base that incorporates the Coke bottle and the tiffany-style shade.
  15. Great price. I can vouch for Osgeld, I've purchased from him before.
  16. OMG, I LOVE those Mattel handheld games.
  17. Holy moly! I have the exact same drawers in my garage! The contents are different, sadly.

I would guess that "D" batteries will last a lot longer than AA's. In my case, putting that many D batteries on my belt would definitely cause some droopy pants!
  19. Theoretically, the zapper games should work using emulation on a hacked Wii. I think the wii-mote is a fair copy of using a zapper. I'll try it out as soon as I get some time.
  20. Clint: I also have the Best refurb. It also has a washed out screen. McWill upgrade is awesome, but it's pretty expensive And it's not an easy mod to do.
  21. All of our drink coasters are Star Trek themed. Live long and frostier.
