Let's try this. Post video-game related artwork or images. NOTHING "REAL LIFE" and no "Cosplay". Just video game related images that you have created or have seen and would like to share, as long as it is video games related, any genre, retro, classic or modern. Any format fine paintings / sketches / digital / rendered etc. Tributes, mash-ups or parodies, re-imaginings whatever. Of course all should be within site rules of etiquette and in the spirit of fun, reasonable common sense as always  😎 Source or credits are fine but not essential (as with my examples they are not always given where they are posted) . Of course I will start things off with a few I just discovered and enjoyed that gave me this idea.

I don't know the history yet, other than TrekMD mentioning they had to stop making episodes early.  Probably when they started planning "Discovery".

But as an outsider, I think it's pretty incredible they allowed the usage of the name, music, etc for several years.  After all, that license is still very valuable.

Hey guys! Forums are back online again 😎 We experienced some interruptions during the day today, the forums were offline at times and it wasn't possible to make new posts or effectively explore the site. We've been upgrading our PHP and installing an SSL certificate, which caused a bit of havoc today but we should be all set. Users will be able to login to the forums from Facebook soon. Remember: the Forums upgrade is ongoing and will continue through the end of the year, so please pardon our dust 👷‍♂️🏗️🚧

Anytime you need help, just ask.  Welcome aboard and have some fun.

The cool things about these challenges is the chance to try a game you might otherwise have glossed over.  And usually, with a little practice and competition, you get better at them and have some fun with them.  That's been the case for me anyways.

RickR want list is linked below.  I know there's some obscure and hard to find stuff there, so here's some easier stuff to work with:
Star Wars, Star Trek, or The Simpsons toys, figures, ships....whatever.  Regional candy from your area.  I think this would be kind of fun.  Example, Clark bars if you live in Pittsburgh.  The stuff you can only find local to you. Pins, magnets - retro, pop-culture, kitschy.  Or those retro gaming tin signs.  No funko pop please (I think I'm the only person in the USA that doesn't care for those things).  Something very specific - a PS2 console keychain.  Any of those mini-arcades as long as you think they are good.  I don't want to be difficult, so please let me know if I need to expand this list to be easier.

    THANKS

I know I'm way late to this party...this is now a few years old.  But I just found it and I'm hooked.

It's called "Star Trek Continues", and it's a free on YouTube.  It's fan created Star Trek episodes.  I know, right?  Probably very nerdy.  But no...this one is special.  The acting is so-so, and pretty bad in spots...but oh my, did they ever capture the look and feel of the original series.  Very great sets, lighting, costumes and props.  Music from TOS.  Effects that look very much like the remastered TOS.  Stories that are meant to continue the 5 year mission of TOS.  I've only watched 3 episodes so far, and I'm hooked.  Some highlights so far:
Episode one is a continuation of the "Apollo" character from the TOS episode "Who Mourns for Adonais?".  It stars the same actor that originally played Apollo.  Is that Marina Sirtis as the voice of the computer?  YES it is! Episode two features Lou Ferrigno as a Orion slave trader who just happens to be GREEN!  Episode three is set in the mirror universe and is a continuation of TOS "Mirror Mirror".  Is that Michael Dorn as the ISS computer voice?  Yep If you squint your eyes just a tiny amount...this really feels like the real deal.  As I was watching episode two, my wife walked in and assumed it was indeed the real show..."What episode is this?".

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.  And if you have, tell me what you think

Well, color me clueless as usual.  I never realized there were TWO different versions of the Jaguar controller.  The pro version had shoulder buttons and three extra action buttons.

I can see now that this makes this repro even more special.

If I ever get a Jaguar, I would definitely get myself one of these!
