  1. Mine does not hum, nor does it crackle lol As for the screen, it does come with a film over the screen you can remove if it IS new.
  2. I remember it, but I never owned it. My guess is a friend must have had it.
  3. I've not heard of it either, but I don't keep up with homebrews that much.
  4. Pretty cool stuff! Amazing what a C-64 can do with the mighty SID chip.
  5. Got a few factory sealed copies of Adventure Time "Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?" for 3DS, I'll do 12 bucks shipped for Atari.IO members!

Let me know if you find a used 3DS.

  6. She's a beaut! I'm sure it will serve you well, those things are tough as nails.
  7. I loved the original Thundercats, didn't really care for the reboot. I don't know if I could recommend going out of your way to watch it. I don't know how well it stands up today, to be honest. I have a few favorites I hope make it on the list, but I may be a bit older than your average Atari.IO user!
  8. I can still sing that dang theme song from start to finish, and I haven't watched it in years.
  9. One of the YouTube channels I subscribe to get those Japanese snack "loot crate" boxes every month. For some reason I find it fascinating.
  10. My biggest resolution is to get back in the retro vendor game more in 2016. I really want to get back out to doing at least 10-15 garage sales per week (a good amount in my area.) I'm trying to improve on what was a great Retropalooza last year with a much more limited budget for stock. (see above) I need to stop being eBay lazy, meaning I need to move some old stock on eBay and convert the proceeds to new stock. I've got some units that need love that I have been putting off getting fixed up. I'm also looking to improve on our performance at the next Houston Arcade Expo. All that sounds like business goals, but they generally go hand in hand with my involvement in the hobby. Obviously, I will be growing my Intellivision collection, but I'm at a point now where I can't predict if, or when I will find the titles I need.
  11. Well I haven't posted anything I've gotten in a while, but here's 2 lots I nabbed from ShopGoodwill.com, all for around $50 shipped. So I definitely needed Dig-Dug, Diner, and Decathalon for my collection, but the rest are tradeable if anyone needs them. Super excited and I'm down to 18 on my INTV list!
  12. If its C-64 compatible, it should work for Atari and maybe even Sega Genesis (minus a button).
  13. There's several I see on the list. Beef Wellington is really awesome, I'm a fan of many meat pies, my father even LOVES mince pies. Also, Fish and Chips is something I can't pass up if they're nice and crispy!
  14. My mom through us a curve ball and the main dish was Mexican Cornbread, our bacon was in the cabbage and black eyed peas. It was awesome. Here's to a great 2017!
  15. Following a few links from that first article, I found this gem. This could easily have been a movie theme: http://www.monroeworld.com/forbiddenforest/media/forest.mp3
  16. I play this on portable too, but when I do it has a vertical line that crosses back and forth on my screen. Not a game breaker, but annoying for sure.
  17. THAT is very cool! Looks to be in immaculate shape for its age.
  18. My Flashback is quickly becoming #1 just for the convenience. but I'm gonna go with the Vader as well. I love the size and design of the Jr, but the switches are kinda funky.
  19. Anytime you're in Texas, swing by! I'll show you the culinary ropes!
  20. I've heard about Hoppin' John, sounds like something I'd love. Nothing special for Italians on New Years?
