It's pretty for sure, but if they want a $200-$300 price point they need a LOT more than pretty.
-
FYI - I just posted about 40 additional 2600 games and hope to get more on later today (did i just say moron?)
What did you call me!?
-
I've already been following, but I do check yours often.
Agree Justin, an eBay directory would be cool.
I'll have several things going up in July. -
Thanks Arenafeets for the trade! Space Hawk to add to my INTV collection and some cool expo swag! Cheers!

I agree with you on that for sure. These are where the cracks start to show in Atari and the whole industry as it was back then. So much vaporware was announced, touted in catalogs, magazines and at trade shows. How many cool things have we seen with Atari that never came out? Atari 2700 RC VCS, Atari Cosmos, Atari Mindlink, Atari 7800 Keyboard Computer, probably close to 100 games across all the systems, all announced and never released. That was bad show. It disappointed a lot of people and tarnished Atari's reputation.
You'd hardly see this today. Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, they're all tight-lipped about what's coming out until it's time to announce something. Tech giants like Apple and Google are notoriously secretive. I'd bet you this tight-lipped tech culture we're in today is to some degree a result of Atari contributing to the collapse of an entire industry because of their slack practices.
Companies can still make the same mistake. I'm thinking about Blizzard specifically and their project "Titan".

I never cared for any of the Summer/Winter games series, but that version of Joust is amazing. I know you'll enjoy!
Thanks again for the trade!
EDIT: That box originally was used to ship a Genesis 3 (console only) I won on eBay. I was a bit puzzled when I saw it as well.

Jose Cruz just came by today with a delivery!
He made the perilous journey across the Gulf of Mexico.
Then he came out swinging with Tron Solar Sailor! My INTV voice collection is complete, thanks to the NoSwearGamer! Cheers!

It has been a blast. It's like a neighborhood trade thing going on here, and everyone seems to be really concerned about making sure their trades find a good home.
I've been surprised how helpful an Atari forum has been with building my Intellivision collection!
Glad you're happy with Atlantis! I don't have pics, but thank you for the Atari carts and INTV manuals and overlays.
I'll make sure to take pics of future trades and put them here.- The Professor and Yo-Yo

This is a weird website. It looks like a corporate website for "Atari's" European office but it makes no sense to me. They don't have any games, they are using different branding, it doesn't look for feel like the "Atari" that's around today. They talk a lot about building apps for putting you to sleep I'm not even kidding. I get the feeling this is some other crappy little company that licensed the Atari name to use to peddle their wares. Anybody know any better?
Their website: http://www.atarigzmes.co.uk
I don't get a valid URL with that link. Gone already?

I definitely need Solar Sailor!
Add to list:
Atari 2600: Stampede, Commando Raid.
Atari 7800: Dig Dug -
Thanks to user AtariToday, I now have a few more titles in my 2600 arsenal, as well as some much appreciated overlays and manuals. Cheers!

I picked up some IntelliVision stuff today & I should have a few dupes. I'll probably update my post tomorrow.
Respectfully requesting your duplicate update, good sir!
-
I will have a lot of INTV dupes to add just as soon as I can figure out what I needed out of a new lot. For now lets just say I'm a happy camper to find He-Man and Zaxxon in the same 26 game lot that I paid a VERY good price for!
INTV dupes for trade (loose carts):Astrosmash
Armor Battle
Bomb Squad
Advanced Dungeons&Dragons
Tron Deadly Discs
Mission-X
Atlantis
Space Armada
As always I look for INTV, some Atari, and Sega Genesis primarily, but talk to me!!
Got a few extra Atari 2600 games to add to the list:
Pac-Man
Summer GamesGunslinger

They just seem to be too touchy on the diagonals.

NES tested, needs a good pin polishing.
Flashback works fine, but wow how bad are those controllers?

Swordquest is just game and box, Atlantis is complete with catalog and mailer.- Arenafoot, MaximumRD and AtariBrian

My cat was a bit concerned until he saw it said SPRAYED and not SPAYED. Thanks RickR for the Omnivision games. I will feel up to the ceremonial offering this week sometime.
