  1. That's my problem, though. I can't afford another one. Not for awhile, at least.

I managed to get Virtua Tennis to load again, but it keeps resetting at the title screen, so I think that it must be a faulty disc.

The Utopia boot disc still works fine, too, so maybe I'm dealing with scratched game discs or something.

  2. I've already posted elsewhere that a copy of Virtua Tennis I bought this week continuously reboots to the main menu when I try to play it.

After some playing around and trying to get things to work, it seems my problem is getting worse. Now my copy of ChuChu Rocket won't load. I fear my Dreamcast may be kicking the bucket, and I'm not sure what to do. I can't afford to replace it.

UPDATE: The Dreamcast is now refusing to load any of my games. Anybody got any ideas?

  3. I gotta new find comin' in probably next week from Ebay... Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast, a game I've had on my radar for a long time now. Will post pics when it arrives.

Got it for a cool $11.

  4. I'm clinging to a faint sliver of hope around the words, "for the year" in the update from Nintendo about the discontinuation. That and the even more telling line over in Japan that the Famicom Mini will probably return to production at a future point implies that MAYBE Nintendo is trying an Atari Flashback tactic, that of limiting sales to holiday periods only?

On the other hand, I'm probably just kidding myself.

  5. never heard of those ...... gatta youtube it now :P

It works with the Game Boy Advance to do AMAZING things like play NES games, add stuff to Pokemon games, add new levels to Super Mario Advance, and, if you have the GameCube/GBA connector cable, it can be used to add cool stuff to games like Animal Crossing.

  6. My latest Ebay find. The wonderfully obscure, possibly cheesy, and totally awesome Nintendo e-Reader. A darn shame this thing never made a bigger impact. It's delightfully high-tech in a Nintendo kind of way.

Anyway, it comes with Clu Clu Land-e, Donkey Kong Jr.-e, Tennis-e, and Manhole-e.

    All this for just $16.99.
