That Jungle Green N64 is extremely rare. Hang on to it. We have the grape one. Those are really cool. Controller looks to be in great shape.

Awesome goodwill score yesterday! Jungle green N64 for $20!! With all the hookups and a controller. Never thought I would own any of the colored N64s.

I found this at Goodwill earlier this month, still sealed:
After putting it together, I found it came with this Flappy Bird game already installed:
It uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller, which I wasn't familiar with before, but I'm enjoying programming for it. I was hoping to also find some coding projects for this particular kit online, but pretty much all I've found so far are the example projects provided by the company. Right now I'm working on a program inspired by an Apple II game I used to play called "Caverns of Callisto". The 8x8 screen is a bit of a limitation, but that's not about to stop me!

That would be AWESOME ....BUT .... there's a couple at Funspot NH and a bit closer
I DID bring my 7800 over there & he played but didn't qualify on the Fuji track. his wrist was mangled trying to hold the stock pro-controller with the stick in the upright position .... I had a great time ... right after we wound up playing some GTR4 on an Xb360 .... he beet me after putting me into a wall
I do have a phelonic ball modded pro-stick that plays better & an Elladin seagull78 adapter for a Sega-pad I hadn't told him about

Ok I take this back. I just posted a couple pics in the black friday post and they were bigger than 2mb. When it gave me the error message was when I tried to upload a pic to my profile. The backdrop pic behind your profile picture. That one told me it was 2mb only. So my bad

The only thing I have found I didn't like so far is I tried to upload a picture and it said 2mb is the biggest the pic could be but when I take pics on my phone they are almost always bigger than 2mb. Other than that I'm loving all this

Goodwill was good to me today! This is now my cleanest super Nintendo. Still need to clean it a little more for it to be perfect.

Do we have any other fans of movies on the PSP here? I've put together a pretty nice collection -- I'm up to 39 movies so far. I started collecting when I decided to give up on Laserdiscs. The LD's took up way too much space. PSP movies take up much less. And, I know I'm slow to catch on....I only recently discovered that there was a cable to allow composite output from the PSP to a TV! Sweet!

Speaking of Netflix...boo hiss at Nintendo for discontinuing video streaming services on the Wii after Jan. 31, 2019. They could have at least kept that part going. That's how I watched Netflix on my old CRT was with a Wii. I know things can't always last forever but they could have kept that part.

Sadly I never did get to meet him. He was in Atlanta at Dragon Con one year but that was the year I couldn't go and I heard the line to talk to him and get an autograph was 2 hours plus. Truly a great man and he will be missed but never forgotten. R.I.P.

Here's a couple tips I have. The first is obvious. Score as many Tetrises (4 lines in one drop) as you can. These are worth the most amount of points. These can obviously be done only with the "I" piece.
Here's the scoring breakdown right from the manual.
Second tip is knowing your pieces.
What I mean by that, is to know what pieces fit in what crevices just by sight. Knowing that an L piece will fit in a spot that's 3 deep with an open spot to the left. Knowing this helps tremendously, especially at higher speeds
3rd tip. Know when to block the well when setting up for Tetrises.
Even though in the example as shown in the picture, yes you're blocking off the well but since lines are completed those lines will go away setting you up for a Tetris. This also helps a lot to get rid of lines when playing at higher speeds.
Here's another example
In this example once the reverse L piece is dropped, a line will be completed. But the Well will remain closed. But with the next piece, you drop it as shown under next into the open gap, and the well will be open once again only being blocked for 2 piece drops.
