greenween Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 I absolutely hate COD, Modern Warfare. I watched all my friends who play it religiously, I bought it. Most boring thing I've ever played!! I've played every Metal Gear since NES, every Medal of Honor, Syphon Filter. 007 on N64, this game just bores me to death!!! I will explain more of my dislike for this game later. "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
RetroVideoGameNerd Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
Atari Today Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Madden. picked up a copy a handful of years back to see what all the fuss was about. hated it. Tecmo Super Bowl on the NES was way more fun in my opinion. I'm on Instagram! @AtariToday
RickR Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Brawl is great if you play with friends who have the same skill level as you. Otherwise, it does stink!
greenween Posted December 2, 2014 Author Report Posted December 2, 2014 Roaming around shooting people, while randomly getting sniped from no where. You die, you respawn. over and over. Sorry if you love it, many do, it bores me out of my mind!!! "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
Kid A Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Madden. picked up a copy a handful of years back to see what all the fuss was about. hated it. Tecmo Super Bowl on the NES was way more fun in my opinion. That game was awesome. I was never a fan of madden games either.
RickR Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Madden just never does the running game right. Tecmo Bowl does. Bo Jackson baby!
RickR Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 OK, I'm going to say something sacrilegious here: Pitfall!I totally get the technical superiority of this game. Great graphics, innovative gameplay, a showcase of 2600 technology. Heck, I grabbed a copy just like every other kid back in the 80's. It's also cool as hell that the 2600 has the best version of all the systems they made this for. But is it fun? No. It just has zero re-playability for me. Same running and jumping for 20 minutes. And what is the point of going on the bottom level? Is it even possible to jump over the scorpion? I know, I know, it lets you skip more screens to get more loot. Zzzzzzz.
greenween Posted December 2, 2014 Author Report Posted December 2, 2014 I've always heard there was a pattern to actually beat Pitfall, anyone else?? "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
greenween Posted December 3, 2014 Author Report Posted December 3, 2014 So, after a quick google search, there are 32 treasures to find before your time runs out to beat the game. I never new! "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."

greenween Posted December 6, 2014 Author Report Posted December 6, 2014 I do love Pitfall, I understand the dislike, but it was one of the first games I ever played, so I have great memories. "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
greenween Posted December 23, 2014 Author Report Posted December 23, 2014 I can respect that! I do love it on the 5200 with the Trak-Ball! "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
greenween Posted December 23, 2014 Author Report Posted December 23, 2014 Never liked the arcade version, but loved the home versions! "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
Arenafoot Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Swordquest Fireworld (my first Atari cart - I thought it was another version of Adventure.....LOL) Fishing Derby (can not beat the computer even on the easiest setting) Space Shuttle (my last Atari cart I bought "back-in-the-day" new....manual way too big and never even tried to figure how to play) Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne
chris31974 Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 I'm with all you Madden haters. I loved it on Genesis but I feel it lost something when it got to later systems. Tecmo, on the other hand, is outstanding.
Yo-Yo Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 I'm with all you Madden haters. I loved it on Genesis but I feel it lost something when it got to later systems. Tecmo, on the other hand, is outstanding. Tecmo was amazing. It's one of many games from other platforms that I wish had made it to Atari.
greenween Posted January 7, 2015 Author Report Posted January 7, 2015 I'm with all you Madden haters. I loved it on Genesis but I feel it lost something when it got to later systems. Tecmo, on the other hand, is outstanding.I still play Madden '95 on My Sega, the later ones, not so much. "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
DeLorean Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I still play Madden '95 on My Sega, the later ones, not so much. Joe Montana Football was pretty underrated on Master System. Maybe because almost everything was underrated on Master System. Just my 2c.
Arenafoot Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 I've always heard there was a pattern to actually beat Pitfall, anyone else?? Yeah I heard that too......plus I was always going to the right.....found out a few years back that you should start going to the left instead. greenween Posted January 11, 2015 Author Report Posted January 11, 2015 I'm gonna give it a shot soon! "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
RadioPoultry Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 I never really understood what the big deal was about Half-Life 2 (though I never finished it). Also, I could never get into Kaboom!. It's just beyond my skill level.

Jayson_B24 Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 +1 on COD (online). Atlas was permitted the opinion that he was at liberty, if he wished, to drop the Earth and creep away; but this opinion was all that he was permitted. Franz Kafka
