    That's a bang-on assessment MaximumRD. The Flashback is what it is, the general public seems to have liked them. If you want the closest thing to real Atari hardware though stick with the 2 or 2+.

    I've been meaning to start a blog as well, it's hard to find the time. There's so much I'm doing for the site, writing for the Retroist, contributing to our own blog, etc. plus there's real life. I really want you guys to feel like you have the tools to make the most out of your personal blogs here.

    Steve Bristow sadly passed away last week. It seems as though we've been losing genuine geniuses and pioneers of the video age far too often recently.     I'm basically snowed in tonight. And for some reason I've become addicted to 2600 Pac-Man. Its flaws make it challenging in the oddest ways

      Sucks you're snowed in, at least you're at home though! I always liked the 2600 Pac Man,it gets very repetitive, but hell, we would play it for hours!

      I'm starting to find that too! Maybe I've always been a 7800 snob, but I've always opted to play 7800 Ms. Pac-Man or 2600 Jr. Pac-Man over the original. It has an awful reputation. Yet for some reason I find myself looking forward to playing it all day long. Maybe there's something to this.
