The original version is 4K.  This one is 32K, so you know it has a lot more features than the original release, just with that.  The rooms fill in, they grow as you enter them and shrink as you exit (that's not on the original), you have the treasure screen, the proper start screen with your main character moving around the treasure screen to pick up the bow and arrows before going down into the dungeon, etc.  The updated port also has faster movement that matches the arcade.  The original port  is slow as molasses!

Hi, I'm TMOP. Some of you knows me from AA, TI99 sub-forum in particular.

Well, just to share my own status, I decided I don't need the 2600+ mostly because I game on a CRT.  If only it had both HDMI and composite or svideo....  I love what Atari has done though.  I may change my mind later.
In the meantime, I *did* pre-order both Berzerk and Mr Run and Jump.  Those are great deals with the box and I'm looking forward to trying them out in November!
The other really cool thing to mention is the very reasonable shipping costs.  $5 for those two games, or $12 for the console.

It is a great game! That's why I love these high score challenges as they get me to play games that I probably wouldn't play otherwise. I am curious what the official Venture release is like and how this improves on it.

That does look scary but it does appear that you have a plan in place.  Let's hope you don't have to use it!

Some good stuff there!  I see you were able to get a boxed Stargate (rather than the later Defender II).  Stargate is harder to find.  It is such a cool port!  The other titles you got are also really good.

The peaches look amazing - never tried glo-havens before!  There's a palisade peach truck that comes through our area in the summers, though, and after eating those, I've never bought another grocery store peach again 😀

Whew! Caught up one rest for now, slept the day away but caught up on over due sleep, from 9am this morning until 6:30 pm I got 9 1/2 hrs rest. I was exhausted from staying up longer than  I normally would so my wife could slumber worry free, we are still sleeping in shifts to remain vigilant for wildfire alerts to either prepare for evacuation or simply evacuate, just being extra cautious as fires continue here in Kelowna BC but thankfully there has been no changes in several hours with even some evac alerts in some areas being demoted to simply stand by, hoping this means they are gaining ground. Been a rough few days but otherwise still trying to just live normally, enjoying hobbies, indoors mostly of course due to poor air quality from smoke and ash but as I tend to be a home anyway that is not too unusual. Hoping the next few days we can eventually unpack our "Evac essentials" so I can finally feel at ease. My wonderful wife prepared for me a nice dinner and dessert another my long slumber so now just back in front of the desktop to distract myself and try to unwind. 😬

If I had the $130 I would have already preordered me a new 2600+.  I would like to have one even if it was just for a novelty piece. I believe Atari is doing a good thing.
