    Got mine today! Awesome!

(There was a delay because my address had two numbers reversed. PM me, and I make sure you got the right number. I'd message you, but I'm not sure if it was Justin or Dan who sent it)

It's best left that way. I reviewed the two player version that came with more games. I think I would enjoy the 3 in 1 more.

These handhelds definitely have more of a 'You-had-to-be-there' appeal to us retro gamers who started out with these mobile games back when electronics was turning out to be a kid's best friend.

Portability, multi-player ops, brief time-efficient rounds, basic strategy - all-in-all some incredibly-tight fun in a small package.
Battery turnover was the biggest setback, and even that didn't affect us as much as it did when larger sets came about (looking at you, Coleco Pac-Man...aww c'mere, gimme a hug old pal!).

I dunno what they expected out of a big screen port. NoSwear's vid pretty much sums it up. Just a terrible idea.

But those original handheld re-issues I see popping around? Pure gold!
Get those instead. Impress your friends, family and co-workers.
    Amaze the dog!
    Bore the cat!
    Get some batteries!

Still have my Battlestar Galactica: Space Alert.
Had so much fun with it, it earned a spot in the family and I gave it a name.

uh...I named it Battlestar Galactica: Space Alert, to avoid confusion.

Who wants to play retro handheld games on their TV?

Well, now you can with the Mattel Classic Sports 3-in-1 plug and play!  Baseball, football, and basketball -- the LED versions right on your bigscreen!  Have fun, kids, and stop scratching your heads.

FYI, I uploaded about 30 more 2600 games, a few with manuals. Nothing fancy. The Star Trek game I posted sold in record time!

My most recent episodes include Joust on the NES (Thanks Rowsdower!), the homebrew Oystron on the 2600 and the amazing Edladdin Supreme 78: All Play 4/8 convertible 4 way and 8 way Joystick for the Atari 7800 or 2600:

Hugues of the Retro League did a recent interview with Milke.  It sounds like the price may be going up. My current guess is that standard systems will be $200, maybe more, and the extra colors will cost you, so the treasure series may end up being $300 with other colors being less. Again, just guessing.

It's pretty for sure, but if they want a $200-$300 price point they need a LOT more than pretty.
