  1. 112150 Wave 7 No other classic system could move this many objects this fast with no flicker. The 7800 rocks.
  2. Whoops! Chas10e let me know that the manual for Blip football was hiding in the Skiing box. He's the master at efficient Tetris packing.
  3. Here is what I took. First of all, I feel that this Elmo's 123's was put in there specifically for me by NSG. If so, THANK YOU. It looks good next to my Elmos' ABC's. And it reminds me of my oldest child when he was a toddler. Priceless. And here's the bulk of what I took. I feel like the PSP games were in there for me, and I thank you, mystery giver, for them! Does anyone else collect for PSP? I really agonized over the Wico 5200 stick. It's so cool, but I feel selfish for taking it. At the same time, it took up a lot of real estate in the box! NSG or Willie, if one of you would like it, I'm happy to ship it to you separately. The football homebrew is so cool! It's a 2600 version of the Mattel handheld football. In case you don't know, I'm the weird gamer that really loves sports games. So that game and the SNES baseball will be played a lot. I also hogged the 2600 games, figuring Willie and NSG probably already had them. The boxes are a little rough, but I really dig the price tags. Activision Skiing is a game in which I earned the patch, so having a boxed copy is really nice. Oooh, and an NSG card pack. I'm hoping for a few Oregon Duck players in there! Below is some stuff I took mostly to get the space for more games in the box. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if anyone wants any of this, I'm happy to ship it separately. Given that, the Star Trek book will be read and enjoyed, I promise. And I really like the ESPN movies. And the multi-system cable is handy. Lastly, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you. Especially NSG for hosting the box. It really is a lot of fun. The box is stuffed full again, and I'll get it out to Willie as soon as I can.
  4. Is there a way to know what BIOS currently in place? I need to take the micro-SD card out and make a backup...I'll bet the BIOS file in use is probably on there.
  5. Sorry for the delay. I'll have pictures up soon. I'll be honest...I could keep every single item in this box. It's that good this time. Really nice job, guys. Reluctantly putting a lot back now.
  6. Mine arrived! Just about exactly 2 weeks after payment. It's awesome.
  7. Arrived today. It's hard to see, but the dot-matrix address label is a nice feature from chas10e! I'm slammed with work, but I'm going to try to get this out on Wednesday. Willie is next I think.
  8. That looks a lot like the one I sold a while ago, but I don't think I sold it on ebay. Funny how trashed some of those old consoles get. But the 5200 is a tank and I'm not surprised it still works. Call Best Electronics and ask them if they sell spare case parts. Or, as you mention, you could always buy a broken 5200 and just borrow the top of the case.
  9. This isn't my auction, but boy what a great deal.  PC Engine + ever drive for $175 and free shipping.  Just in case anyone here is looking for one.

  10. Hey Hey Hey! You got some nice stuff to play.
  11. That's my plan...emulation. I'll probably give it a shot later this week. Great game.
  12. Related, but not related: Earlier this year, McD's had "Avengers" toys that I thought were pretty cool. They also had a promotion with our local sports team for free 6 piece nuggets every time the team scored 100 points. So, my go-to the day after a Blazers win was to go to McD's and get the free nuggies and a hamburger happy meal. I ended up with about 5 or six of the Avenger toys. And also a pretty tasty lunch for about $3.50. I like how the happy meals come with apples, which is a little healthier...but it is a bit embarrassing to order a happy meal as a grown adult. Since the season ended, I haven't been to McD's
  13. That is a really cool item right there.
  14. RickR has a modern console for once.  I picked up a used 3ds today.  I'll admit, the purple color was a selling point.

  15. A single game cart with no sound when other games DO have sound? Never heard of that problem, and I'm not really sure it's possible... May we get a better shot of the end label? The only possibility I can think of is that you got a PAL cart. If that was the case, you'd see a "P" on the end label. Otherwise, I'd try playing another cart. Turn the sound up. If that works, then try playing Yars immediately after.
  16. The next box should be "water" themed.
  17. I did get a reply today and paid using Paypal. I hope I did it correctly. Looking forward to getting that cart. I understand from CrossBow's video that it should take 2 weeks or so. THANKS for pointing me in the right direction!
  18. Welcome. I'm looking forward to your "telethon" coming up.
  19. The picture of you and Nichelle Nichols is a treasure. You are so fortunate to have met her! Thank you for sharing, these are great.
  20. Another CRT for me.  This one came for free via the Facebook marketplace.  It's a 9" Sears.  Manufactured July 87.  It has both RF and composite inputs.  The tube is very flat, but not a Trinitron (I don't think).  This one may be my favorite one yet, as the picture quality is really good.

Sweet! Can't beat FREE ! We don't have the room so I don't take in CRT's anymore but I am currently finally using a nice 14 or 15' CRT for the bulk of gaming in a little "retro corner" I set up, it also has composite and RF / coaxial input. I probably SHOULD have put the 20' Sharp CRT that is RF/Coaxial only since it is so heavy and takes up so much space BUT I just could not bring myself to do it, while there is no room to really set it up I am considering literally playing / using it as it sits in my closet ! Working CRT's here are becoming a rarity and though no longer wanted for me, having so many pre-NES consoles I fear not having access to any one day.

    2. StormSurge
  21. No problem. Thank you both. I appreciate your feedback on the product for sure.
