The mail person left me a personal note apologizing for marking it "delivered" the day prior and delivered the box yesterday. All is well. Never panic, things tend to work out.
The cost is $180. While that is expensive, it's much less daunting than the cost of the actual "must-have" games at this point. Also, Jag emulation stinks, so it feels like a very good option to me.

Well, it is a better option than emulation, for sure. Good point about the cost. They're just so scarce, and that's another problem, possibly due to the chip shortage worldwide. Glad you got it. :O)

Thanks, Harry. That was fun. We should pick another game or a rematch of Decathlon some time.

My equally immature friends and I used to kneel down and let the train of dudes hug Thomas from the front. Use your imagination.

RE: Jack Frost. I wasn't familiar with it until I visited Canada a long time ago and saw it on TV there. I don't remember much about it other than first being delighted to have a new-to-me Rankin/Bass show to watch, and then disappointed at how strange it was. Well, that was a good 25 years ago. Maybe I should give it another go.
-
Honestly I think Jack Frost is probably the best Rankin/Bass special. Though it's not particularly a high bar.

It's the LAST DAY to try and catch @Sabertooth in the ClubVCS Yars' Challenge and @socrates63 in the 7800 Asteroids Challenge!

Items that I'll be listing on ebay soon. I'll mention them here in case anyone is interested and would like to buy now (and save me the effort and fees of ebay). Pictures available if interested.
- Atari 1200XL - needs keyboard refurb. About 1/3 of the keys do not work. Another project I'll never have time for. Hoping to get $175 + shipping. Comes with power adapter.
- Atari 1027 printer - No idea if it works...probably not as the old rubber heads on these disintegrate over time. Free for the cost of shipping.
- Atari XEGS - works. No keyboard. There is a hole cut in the cover. I don't know what this might be worth. $80? Make an offer.
I did NOT buy a mini. I just have too many computers and need to downsize.

Thanks for sharing here @RickR! If these end up on ebay feel free to share your auctions in our ebay listings forum

You are so right, @MaximumRD. There are so many games on this system that aren't perfect, but really do bring back the best memories. Donkey Kong plays kind of slow now, but I remember how amazed all the kids were when the CV came out and this was the game they demoed in the store. Incredible! Zaxxon is another. It's clunky, but still the best home version there is.

Let's revive the Atari.io "Club Evercade". Please join the club whether you have an Evercade or not and help spread the word. It's a great system for retro gamers! I'll be posting thoughts, reviews, and new release info, and hoping like crazy that others will join in with their stories and expertise.

Love and support for Texas (and other storm-affected places). Here's a report from David "The 8-bit Guy" from his home in the Dallas area.

What is it for?

From what I know, it's like the Harmony cartridge but for the Intellivision. It lets you play rom files, so you can play homebrews and store the entire official Intellivision library on a single cartridge. I hear the Intellivision homebrew scene is quite vibrant. I missed out on the early batches and ordered this. Hopefully it'll come in 4-6 weeks.
-
You got it. It's an Intellivision multi-cart.
I'm planning on getting a CRT out to try this out sometime soon. Right now, our dining room table has a new computer for my wife on it. Until we get time to get her VPN installed and swap it out with the old PC in the office, I'm on hold. After, I'll use that space to play some intellivision.

Micro Pinball has arrived! It took about two weeks, which was expected.
FedEX delivered it to the wrong address (the house next door). No biggie, but still. Not cool. My poor neighbor was embarrassed that I saw her in PJ's. Oops.
I'm not sure that I'll have time to open and assemble this today, but I will post here when I do.

More gaming-credenza improvements.
- Replaced 2600jr with 7800
- Added Atari 800xl
- Moved Wii down one level
- Moved PS2 up one level
And I've maxed out the switchbox at six systems. There is a real limitation on moving the shelves around due to a lack of many peg holes. This is the configuration that makes the most sense at the moment. Thanks, @HDN for some good suggestions.

Oh it gets more worrisome. The status shows as "delivered" at 5:21pm yesterday, but no sign of the box. I don't think it was stolen, but rather the mail person must have put it in the wrong box. Hopefully, whichever neighbor got it will give it to me today. Fingers crossed!

Saw the other post. Glad you got the GameDrive cartridge. That must have been nerve-wracking waiting for it. Happy for you. :O)
