  • Halloween H2O
  • Christine
  • The Shining
  • Night of the Living Dead
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • The Exorcist
  • It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

  • Rosemary's Baby
  • Poltergeist
  • E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (takes place on Halloween)

We're going to watch  the first Christopher Lee Dracula movie tonight in TinyChat with a few friends, and then the Mrs and I are planning on watching House on Haunted Hill (1959) after that!

My wife and daughter are continuing the movies, I'm moving on to games. Haunting on Sega is my first choice, RE4 may be next.

My parents and I watched The Omen and the first season of Marble Hornets. Marble Hornets is a really cool webseries, it's kind of like what Blair Witch Project should have been.

Ah Man Haunting Starring Polterguy is amazing.   Such a great, original, funny game.

The whole month of October lends itself so well to visit and revisit horror titles, new and old.

Actually, I rarely watch new horror during the month. Funny how nostalgic one gets for the things that went bump in our spooked childhood nights of olde.

Yeah, got The Omen trilogy (which came with the so-so remake) and went through those during the month.

Also Friday the 13th (1980)

Happy Birthday To Me (which has the weirdest, unintentionally funny ending)

My Bloody Valentine (the 1981 original - although the remake is quite good)

Shaun of the Dead (one of the most effective movie I've seen)

and on the night itself

Halloween (35th Anniversary remastered - great image)

and

The Beyond (pure nightmare fuel)

All in Blu-Ray, cuz hi-def horror is grand.

I hope everyone had a wonderfully spooky Halloween at the movies.
