MaximumRD Posted June 3, 2016 Report Posted June 3, 2016 Just something I like to do occasionally in various groups, forums etc. Just post a capture of my daily use computing desktop. I am on Win10 64bit and I enjoy a clean and fairly clutter free desktop but it is always fun to see what others OS Desktop looks like. Feel free to post your own. fergojisan Posted June 3, 2016 Report Posted June 3, 2016 Sorry, I couldn't resist, this is my real one.
Atari 5200 Guy Posted June 3, 2016 Report Posted June 3, 2016 This is mine. Running Windows 7. I have more stuff installed than it shows. Steam, alone, is showing 88 games. Includes Farming Simulator '13, Train Simulator '15, Euro Trucking Simulator 2, and American Trucking Simulator. Also installed is the entire Adobe Design Suite CS 5.5 I got while attending college which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, and more. I generally try not to let apps take up my desktop space. I don't need that kind of convenience. It's not that difficult to click Start and then find what I'm after
greenween Posted June 3, 2016 Report Posted June 3, 2016 I'll try. "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
RickR Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 I'm on Windows 10, 64 bit. Have not touched my computer innards in a few years. I think Moore's Law is no longer valid. I've got mine set to rotate images every few hours. Here's a few of my favorites:
Ballblaɀer Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate, 1920x1200 -- this is as clean as it's looked in a while.

Atari 5200 Guy Posted June 5, 2016 Report Posted June 5, 2016 Did I mention that I also run Ubuntu and MS-DOS 6.22 without Windows? I swap out hard drives when I want/need a different OS.

Love Ubuntu! Its taken some time to finally be able to do just about everything you could want it to do from a Windows environment with the added stability and security just less the gaming. 7800 - 130XE - XEGS - Lynx - Jaguar - ISO: Atari Falcon030 | STBook |STe

RickR Posted June 8, 2016 Report Posted June 8, 2016 I'm thinking about upgrading to TWO monitors. That's the setup I have at work, and it's one of those things that would be hard to go without.
