  3. My High Score for Berzerk Enhanced Edition: 4,310
  4. Those are great ideas @RickR! I was trying to do that with TurboGrafx and Duo games a few years ago. It’s not easy to build an audience, but very fun to play games and film videos.
  5. I would rather see standard videos. If you had to go live, streaming on weeknights would be preferred.
  6. Reminds me of when I added the Forums to Atari I/O
  7. I had done that two years ago when you made us aware of Lvl Up. I hope those scores are still there. Lvl Up will have rescued my scores. Hopefully more people will come over to Lvl Up from HighScore.com now that it's gone. Is anything going on with Twin Galaxies anymore?
  8. @Marco1019 That's extremely disappointing. I had some excellent world record high scores over there. I hope the same won't happen at lvlupscore.com
  9. Good stuff. Waiting on 7800 Crystal Castles
  10. I’m still unsure how to play this or how score is kept. I imagine it’s a lot like Dom Jot.
  11. There's room in everyone's Atari I/O Profile to add your Nintendo Friend Code, Playstation Network ID and Xbox Live ID
  12. For Nintendo Switch you need your Nintendo Friend Code
  13. If this is on Evercade Atari must have rights to put this game out. I'd love to see an Atari 7800 version of this game, playable on the Atari 2600+
  14. I always enjoyed the arcade version of Lunar Lander. It's early but I love the physics. Gravitar, and Thrust+ Platinum from @thrust26 are two favorites. Although Lunar Lander: Beyond has a bit too much of that "flash game" look to it, I really like the added elements shown in the video. Having to "hack" the exit was a cool touch, plus having missions to accomplish and things to do other than landing and refueling is really nice. I feel like this would've made the perfect Lynx game. With any luck, one day maybe it will. I haven't played this game on Steam but I hope to give it a thumbs up if and when it's released on the VCS. I'd be thrilled to see more coming out for the Atari VCS. I worry that 18 months from now things will become dry for the VCS, with Atari's attention focused on the 2600+ and other offerings. Hopefully that won't be the case and the VCS will live a long life with lots of cool games to come.
  15. Sounds like he has a monkey on his back When you’re hopped up on Donk it’s like there’s nobody else alive but you.
  16. Lancia Delta HF Integrale (Italy, 1979-1994)
  17. 🕯 There’s nothing nicer than working on the backend of Atari I/O by candlelight on a cold winter’s night.

  18. People love to say “fAiLeD cOnSoLe”. It’s like a meme at this point. NEC briefly made this variant of the PC Engine for the Japanese market and released 5 SuperGrafx games before moving on to the Super CD and Arcade CD which was better technology. They chose a different path. This was fairly common for products at that time to be released in Japan first, almost like a test market. SuperGrafx added an additional GPU that put another layer of graphics into PC Engine games. All but one SuperGrafx games were also PC Engine compatible. I’ve played the SuperGrafx games, they’re cool but I love the Super CD and Arcade CD much better. Of the few decisions NEC got right, the Super CD was a big one.
  19. I actually don't recognize this. Looks Brazilian.
  20. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood has become my favorite Tarantino film. When I heard “Quentin Tarantino is doing a movie about the Manson Murders” I expected a rondo of blood. What we got was something really different.

Yes!  It has been a while since I saw that one.  I went in blind, not even knowing it was Tarantino.  So yes, very different than what was expected.

I watched that movie & came away very impressed as it was a departure from his previous efforts. The IMDB notes are a good complement. I believe Sharon Tate's sister was consulted for the film.

  21. You could make that case for the 2600 as well. We're in a different age now and a different market. The 2600+ and this new 400 mini are not competing as industry leaders the way PS5, Xbox and Switch are today. That's also why I thought it would be far more economical for Atari to roll their modern support for the 5200 format into a new A8+ product.
