  1. It's great to have you here @DoggoThief ! If you continue to post episodes of your show here and keep the thread maintained, we'll pin your thread to the top and do our part to promote your show as best we can. Welcome to the community, we really hope you enjoy spending some time here! Best wishes on the show!
  2. Correct, draw references from the game itself, not things like catalogs or ads. An image of an Atari 2600 on a page about the Atari 2600 is relevant. Don't use things in your haiku that nobody is going to know. And give other people a chance.
  3. Correct. We're having a fun time here. Great idea! I second this. It is. A tagline in a vintage TV commercial is obscure. As opposed to in-game references about Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Yoshi, the world they exist in, etc. Not going to argue this point. It would be a good idea to keep "Haiku Hints" pertinent to the original source material of the game, rather than drawing references from outside sources such as vintage commercials, catalogs etc.
  4. No, creating Haikus with clues outside the scope of reasonable knowledge is not the point.
  5. 😎 Our TurboGrafx-16 Squad Challenge begins next week! Get those TG systems ready & emulators running! We’ll be playing an incredible HuCard game.

  11. @- Ω - One of the most important things will be developing activity in the TI forum. That will mean getting the word out to the TI world that Atari I/O is a TI-friendly forum and a nice new place for TI enthusiasts to spend their time 🙂 Good conversations in this new TI forum and inviting TI friends to join us will be key to its growth. The more TI activity in here the better.
  12. A great reason to invite some friends to join you on a fun afternoon! ⛳
  13. Great game! They did a great job with the label too, I love when home-brews feel like they could've been real releases back in the day.

(Most all Atari I/O Posts have perpetual edit capability, with very few exceptions. It's rarely abused and makes for a better site.) I'd like to give a special THANK YOU to @- Ω - for stepping up as Atari I/O's first TI-99/4A resident expert and offering to get the TI conversation started in the Forums.
  15. @Gianna and I had a fun adventure this week, we played 18 holes of mini golf at Tropical Breeze Fun Park and then went to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant. It was a great time! I intentionally left my phone in the car so that I wasn't carrying it around the entire time we were golfing, the next time we play I'll be sure to take a few pictures of our adventure. It was a terrific time, it was a nice day out and our first time playing Mini Golf at that fun park. We came within one point of each other and nearly tied! Our score was @Justin 54 @Gianna 55, Par for the course was 44. Here's a picture of our Scorecard:
