I bought these three from Stone Age Gamer a few months ago to refresh my tired old controllers for NES/SNES/Genesis.  So far, all three have been really good.

Objective
Play for the highest possible score using the difficulty settings defined in the challenge. Post a photo or YouTube video of your score in this thread. Scores must be achieved between January 1st through January 31, 2024.  Screen captures are not allowed as they are more easily manipulated for falsified scores. Multiple submissions are permitted. The player with the highest score at the end of the competition is the victor!
 
Eligibility
This is a Club VCS Exclusive Challenge. All Club VCS players are welcome!
 
Play Rules
Games may be played on real Atari VCS hardware. Choosing which controller to play on is part of formulating your strategy. Enhancements, rewinds and hacked versions of this game are not allowed.
 
Difficulty Level
We are playing Quantum: Recharged in the "Arcade Mode". Move, dodge and loop your way to the highest score possible!
 
Fair Play
Your integrity is everything. Players should play fairly, be honest, and have fun! Falsified scores will result in your immediate removal from the site. It goes without saying that we will not allow cheats, hacks, cartridge frying, enhancements, rewinds, deceitful photo manipulation, subterfuge, or any other unfair advantage. Everybody hates a cheater.

Welcome to our twenty-third Club VCS Recharged Squad Challenge!!! For this challenge we're playing Quantum: Recharged! Released in Summer 2023, Quantum: Recharged is a re-imagining of the obscure Atari arcade game Quantum (1982) by GCC's Betty Ryan. It's a deep-cut for the series and unique in terms of gameplay. 
Accelerate to make some distance between you and a stalking Neutron and use your dodge to avoid the Quarks' deadly laser attacks.
 
Club VCS Recharged Squad Contest
This game is the first title in our fifth Club VCS contest giveaway! Prize details will be announced shortly.   This time we're going a full 12 rounds with the winner announced in January 2025!
1)  All challenge participants will receive one (1) entry for each challenge in which they submit a valid score!
2) The top scorer of each challenge will receive two (2) additional entries - for a total of three (3) entries in a single challenge!
3) On Twitch or Youtube?  Stream or record and post your ClubVCS high score attempt for one (1) additional entry in each round.  You must post a public link to the video in the Challenge.
This contest is open to everybody, including Atari I/O Moderators, with a U.S. or Canada  mailing address. It's really easy, all you have to do is participate be a Club VCS member and participate in our Recharged Squad Challenges.

It's vastly improved the 7800 compatibility although my Rampage and Double Dragon carts still do not load. Also, Circus Convoy!

Also I didn't mention it last night but Lance @Video 61 had to cancel yesterday due to health reasons (nothing serious but under the weather) so myself and @Funkmaster V wish him to feel better soon and we hope he'll be able to join us very soon!  Be sure to check out Video61 Atari Sales for all your sealed Atari game needs!

It was awesome having @CrossBow on and he brings so much knowledge that we are lacking.  If you enjoyed seeing him on the podcast then you'll be glad to know he will hopefully return from time to time!  As long as he's available and willing we will have him on again; hopefully multiple times a year.  Thanks to everyone who joined us in the chat and everyone who gave us a like or simply watched! 
Barring any unforseen releases, next show will be our "Fuji" awards on the podcast which will be a semi serious award show for the best and worst of 2023 in the Atari world and community!  So join us for that and a Happy New Year to you and yours!

This video was for my nephew Stu who gifted me this phone that was not useful to him, wanted to show what I managed with it but decided to make the video public. 

😝🤷🏻‍♂️This Android phone was sadly banned by Google servers, it cannot access the Google Play Store as this particular model was banned by Google servers over licensing issues. Any options to run an alternative ROM such as various open source or Linux flavours have also failed. It is stuck on Android 7. All current means to get root access have failed however, I still find it useful by side-loading APK’s as well as downloading apps from Amazon, open source repositories etc. I like tinkering with it and it’s been useful, even more so since I found this launcher which mimics iOS quite well.
!!!!! YOU MIGHT NEED TO CRANK VOLUME AS MY iPAD CAMERA ALWAYS SEEMS TO RECORD LOW LEVEL AUDIO !!!!!!!!!
 

And there is more...hehe. A new FW beta release was given out yesterday to testers and from initial reports... it has nearly all of the 7800 homebrew now working including games with FM sound through the use of a Dragonfly cartridge. 
I will be able to confirm this for myself perhaps a little later on today... 😉
 

Great to hear and see the boys along with CrossBow. I can say enough about his work concerning consoles. He has serviced and/or modded several of my consoles (e.g., Atari Heavy, Sears Heavy, Atari 7800, both of my Lynx II’s and my ColecoVision).
