I'm interested to hear about and/or see the coolest items in your collections. My top three are my Vectrex, Atari Video Music and Atari 2800.

I just watched this video that was posted by Retrogamer Gen X with several cool demos for the Vectrex and thought I'd share it.  Enjoy!

These old wooden shelves are remnants of the days when my grandparents called this place home. This used to be my grandpa’s workshop. There are lots of workbenches, vices, and leftover tools from when he used to live here. For years, these shelves have sat here filled with movies on tape, board games, and other junk. Today I realized that it is in fact quite easy to reposition the shelves and so, with a little reorganization and dusting, our NES, SNES, and Game Boy collections have a new home. I still have N64 and the disc-based games to worry about, but since those systems aren’t down here yet they aren’t a top priority. As you can see, the movies are still here on the top shelf. That may have to change in the future. The board games have been put with their kin on another basement shelf.
I imagine that it would be pretty easy to grab some more boards to add to the shelf. I found some shelf-mounting thingies on the top shelf before I repositioned them, so I should be good if I wanted to add another four shelves in the future, which is somewhat inevitable at this point.

OK, I don't want to dig up bad feelings.  Advice:  make the best of it.  Maybe have one console out at a time if you don't have shelves to organize.  Or get some milk crates to make shelves?  You're a creative guy, you'll figure this out.   
Here's pictures of my childhood basement room that was dedicated to us kids.  That spot in the corner under the hidden electrical panel was where we had a TV on a cart with Atari hooked up.  It took a lot of hard work to get it cleaned up like this.  And frankly, it was very sad.  I'm glad I took pictures and video of the whole house, though. 

 

I just released a video on this cool SD flash cart and go into the modes of operation it has.
 

That controller looks fantastic! 

Here are a couple of pics of my 2600 Jr. I keep it in our living and mostly use it during our game nights. I really like the all black variant too. I've never seen one in person, but a couple have popped up on eBay. 

I have one of each as well. I have to admit that ColecoVision has an amazing array of ports and for the most part, their all pretty well done. Both systems have trak-ball controllers, but I prefer the larger 5200 TB over the CV Roller Controller. Both work really well.

<Edit>. 5200 Defender is great and it plays extremely well with the stock CX52 controller.
 

You've identified most of my favs. In addition I like Lady Bug, Time Pilot and Slither (Roller Controller). 

Great now I have to get one of those!  Lol I wasn't aware of that though I'll have to look into it!  Thanks for the heads up I want the controller video to be as exhaustive as possible.  Probably not good for views but good for fans who want to know what's out there lol
That one might be a ways away though...

There are some very amazing "wow-factor" games in the CV library.  Dragonfire, Frenzy, Burgertime, Smurf, River Raid, Fathom, Zaxxon, Turbo.  Those are some of my favorites.

Btw, when you put together your controller video, don't forget to mention the Starplex controller. 7800 Asteroids is superb when paired with a Starplex. It really provides the arcade experience. I also recommend the RetroGameBoyz 7800 gamepad. If you look closely, you'll see one of mine in the pic below. Happy gaming everyone! 🙂

Hey all!  I know most of you are well steeped and established in the Atari 7800 and Atari communities as a whole, I just put out a buyers guide for people maybe looking to get into the console for the first time.
It covers options for buying consoles and hooking them to different televisions, controllers to use, which games to start with and some homebrew recommendations including a game or two from atarisales.com and gooddealgames.com. 
It's meant to be an introduction and companion videos will be releasing for the life of the channel digging deeper into controllers etc.  If you have any game collector friends who maybe ignored the 7800 in the past, share it with them and see if it peeks there interest. 
Oh and sorry if I've been posting this stuff excessively, I can cut back.  But I truly value all of your opinions and hope to get feedback and ways I can improve.  This community has been a big help in that and keeping me motivated.  Ok guys let me know thanks. 
 

I got my first Atari Lynx back in 1992 for my birthday from ToysRus. Blue Lightning was my first game, still have it and it’s my favorite video game system. Would love to hearing everyone story on how they became Lynx owners. 

I got a Lynx II when I was in medical school.  It was discounted at Kay-Bee Toys (remember them?) and I got several games with it at the same time.  I gradually grew the collection and now I have a complete collection.  I was smarter when I got it and I kept all the boxes!

In my quest to collect a full set of Atari enamel pins, I need three more to complete the set.  Does anyone know or have these remaining three pins I can purchase.  Thank you in advance!

If you have Spiceware's Parrot bus stuffing demo, that will tell you pretty easily. that demo will NOT work on any 7800 I've seen with the extra timing circuit in place. It is a 2600 demo but runs even on the original older Harmony. So that is one program I use to test for it without taking the console apart.
