Nope. I want nothing to do with them. 
 
Besides, from what I understand, Custards Revenge gave the clear appearance that the goal of the game is to help Custard get his revenge by raping a tied down Native American woman named Revenge (even if the makers tried to cover up the goal when protests arose). Seriously, that is sick. Even if games like this claimed everything is consensual, I personally think they're disgusting and I  don't want anything to do with the porn industry, especially since it tends to objectify women as sex objects and has been harmful to many lives and families.
 
So long story short, for these reasons among others, if I ever found a copy of one of these games mixed in a box of games I bought off of ebay, I'd have no problem forgoing the $ to trash it instead.
 
Just to clarify, I'm not out to force my beliefs on anybody, I'm not out to judge anybody who does collect them or would buy or sell them. I'm just answering the question for myself.

This is kind of unrelated, but I remember visiting OMSI in Portland when they had a Star Trek exhibit in the early 90s (back in their old building). I can't remember if they had any original props. It had an educational focus. There was an TNG-style bridge with various consoles you could interact with, I think one was a simple science quiz, and when I finished it, I got to select a video to play on the big view screen. Downstairs there was a very empty room with a projector showing episodes of the original series. There was also a side room with Commodore computers, some of which had games loaded up (I specifically remember Zaxxon and Pipe Dream).

I honestly have no memory of either franchise as a child. Maybe none of my local stations picked it from syndication.

You absolutely want the one that's original and stock. 
 
I highly recommend the 400 to anyone that wants a really great game machine.  It is the equal of the 5200.  And there are a TON of game carts out there. 
 
I will tell you this about the original membrane keyboard.  It works.  I've never seen one broken.  Pick any other Atari computer, and you'll find keyboard issues after 30 years.  But not that one.  And for anyone complains that it's hard to type on....well, Atari made that machine to be an entry level computer that played great games.  If you wanted to program and type...the 800 was available for you.
