Riddle of the Sphinx? Maybe Dragonstomper?

Has anyone else tried this game for the DS? I realize it's more of a kids game...but it really has an old school vibe to it. Why? Well, you have to type in commands and objects to use to solve each level. I found myself really thinking about the old text adventures while playing. I think it's a lot of fun.

My wife and I stumbled across a "Raising Cane's" just south of Los Angeles on I-5. It was great. My wife had never been, and she enjoyed it too. I really like places that have a very small and focused menu like RC's.

I'm an old fart I guess. I can only watch 1 or 2 in a sitting.

Old School Gamer Magazine

I have not tried. I haven't even had time to open and look at the magazine. They are both still in the plastic wrap. -
Episode 4 here. Loving it so far.

I also got a copy at PRGE, and they also mailed me one. I'll save the extra for the next junk box. -
Updated want list in advance of "secret santa".

I just got a copy of the M-Network 2600 version of Burgertime....and it's pretty lacking. The Intellivision version is awesome.

NSG did beat our combined scores! Very impressive.

It's the same author as "Defend Your Castle": http://forums.atari.io/index.php/topic/3352-atari-2600-defend-your-castle/ I can attest that game came quickly and was fun to put together. No issue at all here ordering another game from Simon.

Give Me My Pancake! by Mr. Atari http://www.mr-atari.com/pancake/ This one looks really cool. It's got the look and feel of a Game-n-Watch, which is a really neat idea. Plus, the ROM is available to try for free. And you can get a custom message in the hard version for just a few bucks more! And finally...only about $18 shipped to the US! Oh! And there is a PDF of the box that you can print yourself. Unbelievable! I ordered one. The game is pretty simple, but it's fun and unique, and I think we all should support such fairly priced efforts.

We're 2 in. It's like the climb hill on a roller coaster.....I have a feeling it's going to take off soon.

I just now tried "Space Rocks" on Harmony, and OMG....it is just awesome. I think I need to re-do my list.

I never did have luck finding one for you. Always the blank space on the shelf at Target Good idea ordering one on-line. Target.com has always been good to us.

OH MAN! So much good junk in this box. Here's some pictures of what's in here. This first pic is just my first pass at "must-keep" items. Really neat stuff. I think the complete boxed "Amidar" is sweet. Star Trek TV guide, a couple of boxed (and loose) DS games (I will put those to good use), Lynx "Scrapyard Dog" (WOW!), a boxed Genesis game, a Genesis retrogen, some neat looking PS2 games. I think I'm going to be busy for a while trying all these out. Oh! And the Ghostbusters pin, the batmobile Hot Wheel... This next pic is the stuff I put in that no one took. Wah-wahhhhhh. I probably missed a few. I'll post pics of the stuff I put in later. Probably a bunch of Atari carts should go here too. The loose Atari carts...and a nice Combat box. You can bet I'll be re-assembling that box for one of my many combat carts. Hey look, there's TWO combats in the box! I guess I should have put those in the "must-keep" pic. A really neat Underdog DVD set (I'll watch and then put in a future box), And a really cool Japanese Dreamcast game. Will it work in a USA Dreamcast? I'll find out. Finally, some comic books, manuals, etc. Gonna give these a read for sure. THANK YOU everyone for making this junk box so much fun! Really nicely done. -

Atari I/O Retro Junk Box 10 - It's all about the junk
RickR replied to RickR's topic in Atari I/O Events & Contests
The junk box has arrived back at the mother-ship! Thank you to Greenween for shipping it out so quickly. I'm very happily surprised to see that it's still the original box, and that a lot of additional artwork has been added. I'll open it up and document whats in there as soon as I get my bearings here at home. -
I'd look into a different upscaler. There should be no lag.
