  1. Absolutely amazing @socrates63! Thanks for sharing!

THANK YOU for this!🏆  One of my favorite Atari games of all time, from any system. Tragic we never got Crystal Castles on Atari 7800. Maybe there's still time?

Do we know if Atari plans on a standard re-release of Crystal Castles similar to Berzerk?

Thanks for watching! Yeah, Crystal Castles is one of my favorites too.

I haven't heard anything about 7800 releases. It's speculated that Crystal Castles 7800 was in development and even had a number (CX-7817). It would be wonderful if a ROM or source code were found and released as with Saboteur and Aquaventure.  That or Sky Fox!

  3. I have it and its a fun collection if you like Montezuma's Revenge. I really love Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan on the VCS. None of these games are quite as good as that, but it's a cool collection.
  4. Out now! Is anyone else playing? It's a very chill game and a bit easier than Pedra.
  5. Yes, I got it from the same page. It was a choice at checkout IIRC.
  6. As shown by @Davpa on Twitch and reported by @Ballistik. If you don't already follow Davpa on Twitch, be sure to give him a follow for VCS tidbits. https://www.twitch.tv/atarian_davpa If you don't already follow Ballistik, I don't know how to help you. 😉 https://www.youtube.com/@ballistik_coffee_boy

Love it.  I've been grooving along with that Casio beat all day long.

I LOVE these records that expanded on the World of Atari. It really shows that these games were so early that we had to use our imaginations to visualize what was happening in the game. We had to imagine we were in a space ship blasting Asteroids, or fighting the evil Qotile. Just awesome :yars_revenge:

  15. I am happy to get the limited edition of Atari Archive Vol 1: 1977-1978 by Kevin Bunch and published by Press Run Books. The book covers the first two years of the Atari 2600 and provides important historical context for its development and the nascent home videogame market. The limited edition is numbered, comes with a signed certificate, slipcase, papercraft diorama and poster. My initial copy was damaged so this is a replacement. #99 of 750.
  16. This was probably my favorite episode of the season. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
  17. Mail call: The Sydney Hunter Collection from CollectorVision Games. I've been looking forward to this since its announcement. I loved Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan on the Atari VCS and can't wait to explore these Sydney Hunter titles on my Evercade.
  18. Yeah, that's right. You could use the Polymega module to legally add your entire cart collection to your VCS. Also - for me - my Saturn, PS1 and NES collections.
  19. And if folks don't know what I'm talking about, here is a link to that topic in ClubVCS.
  20. One question for modern VCS owners: Does the announcement of the 2600+ negate your interest in the announced 2600/7800 Polymega module and expansion of Polymega functionality to the VCS? Or are you interested in both?
  21. They just re-released this on Switch and PS4. Here's a review. https://www.pushsquare.com/reviews/ps4/red-dead-redemption I had it on PS3 and it was a tremendous game for the time.
  22. My order is in. I think the price is fair for 2600/7800 compatibility, a controller and the 10-in-1. The paddle bundle is an excellent value at $39 with a 4-in-1. I'm very curious about compatibility with homebrew since this is emulation and not FPGA. I suspect that many homebrews will not work but will be ecstatic if proven wrong. I also picked up Berzerk Enhanced since I'm a sucker for voice synthesis and $29 is a decent ask.
