Curious: Classic Controller or Modern?

They apparently can't make up their minds on when these close. Atari's socials said 6/7, website says 6/10 and countdown clock puts us at 6/12.

The last day to order these from either LRG or Atari XP is tomorrow. Hopefully Atari will stick to a July ship date. I'm curious to see what the finished products look like and to test their compatibility with different models of the 2600, 7800 and clones.

Easily the worst power up in the game.

I'm not aware of any manuals. It would be nice to have a pdf that at least breaks down scoring.

15,940 with the Classic Rotational. A decent second run after a laughable start of 1,350. 🤣

Yeah, when the level changes to green, around 8 k or so, there is a fleet of several that appear. I like the ship embedded in the asteroids. As long as you hit the ship it will explode. If you miss it and hit the rock only, it will free the ship to attack you.

This is what I would have preferred and is how (the excellent) Thrustlander is oriented. That said, you pretty quickly get used to using the second button for thrust. The only issue is the warp is hard to reach. But that's a hail Mary anyway. 😀

King makes an impressive Recharged Squad Challenge debut, coming in second with a tremendous 13,345! @BHG_Gaming turned in a strong entry late in the game with 12,210 to take the third spot. I squeaked into fourth place with 10,485. @Mockduck, @Stlrs95, and @Yorkies TV all brought their best game to round out our Final Standings. Finally, thanks to @RickR who participated again as a shadow player with 4,085 on the PC version. Because this was the PC version of the game, he will not receive an entry into the giveaway and does not appear on the Final Standings. Black Widow: Recharged is an unforgiving game.
