  11. In case you missed it, we had a couple of Atari I/O members post some GREAT celebrations of Atari Day! First of course there was No Swear Gamer with his Pole Position Atari 2600 Review. He had polled Atari I/O members to see which game we wanted and then created this review in response. If you haven't had the chance, check out his Pole Position video, like and share The No Swear Gamer: Pole Position Atari 2600 Review Next, our friend Vic Sage posted a Retro Radio Memories Podcast episode over at The Retroist in celebration of Atari Day! Like NSG he gave our website a shoutout! This episode was about "The Story of Super Breakout", an audio book set released by Atari in 1982. It's VERY cool to listen to! You can listen to the podcast embedded below: https://ia801505.us.archive.org/12/items/RetroRadioMemoriesEp78SuperBreakout/Retro-Radio-Memories-Ep-78-Super-Breakout.mp3 Here is a link to the post on The Retroist: http://www.retroist.com/2016/09/26/rrm-ep-078-super-breakout/ THANK YOU to all our friends who celebrated Atari Day and shared their love of classic games with the world
  12. The controller is an Atari 2600 Pro-Line controller. Will any of this be going up for sale?
  13. I feel like 7800 Avenue is going to be a hit It's going to be like Jag Bar with guests and games? Is it only 7800?
  14. I guess that's all relative. I would say they're "new" compared to the version we've had for 15 years. It hasn't been discussed here yet and it's a pretty cool find so a post was made about it.
  15. That really was my only point. And the insinuation that a nice big eye roll would make you a fanboy ticked me off in the context of the AVP Lynx article. I'm sure everybody here was in favor of honest reporting of the Chameleon/Mike Kennedy debacle and would appreciate what that meant
  16. My issue isn't AVP, it's a fantastic looking game. My issue with the article is the claim that Lynx "was a horrible failure for the company". It wasn't the incredible success Game Boy was but I think it's pretty dramatic to say it was a "horrible failure". AVP would have been an incredible release. Much respect to the creators of the game and those who unearthed new prototypes
  17. Funny thing is, he proclaims himself a fair journalist and says "It is time gaming journalism takes its rightful place as proper sources and not fanboys giving free advertising." I acknowledge the Lynx was mishandled and didn't ship as many units as Game Boy. If you disagree or take issue with his article, or demand that reporting be honest and accurate instead of sensationalized clickbait does that make you a "fanboy"?
  18. I forgot about Rygar. The Lynx was really good with arcade ports wasn't it
  19. Just received this from AtariGames.co.uk. You guys will need to take this up with them as we are not affiliated with them and can't resolve this issue for you.
