My wife and I went out to an old-school BBQ place this evening.  Now, there are tons of fancy bbq places to choose from, but this one, even with it's old dankness, has the very best brisket in town.  Melts in your mouth good.  Definitely not fancy, but outstanding food.

Plus, those cactus lights always look like they are flipping me off, which I appreciate. 
 
 

I didn't get a chance to vote, but this would've been my choice 🙂 I'll definitely get one when available.

Since I use my mouse for mostly non-gaming stuff, I put it here.  Anyway the new Logitech MX Master 3S mouse arrived today.  I plugged it in, it found itself, download the software and was I cruising within 2 minutes.  It feels so much better than my old M705.

That's really too bad the reasons they come up with to destroy things. It's a sad thing. :(

I've seen pics of groups of cabs left outside of building to just rot from the elements. And in the worst cases, I've seen photos of actual arcade guys that still operate machines and routes that have posted pics of bonfires they have built with cabs that weren't making them anymore money and they weren't willing to sell the cabs for cheap to get rid of them so... burn them instead.

@MaximumRD those painting are awesome.  FYI, if you want a "better look", go to the zoom option, right click, to copy the image location and then paste it in a new window.  Once it opens you can drag it to your desktop where you can use CTRL and your mouse wheel to really zoom in on the detail. 🙂
Uploaded images are degraded when uploaded here, but this should give you an idea of how far you can zoom in without pixels becoming visible.

I think you guy are right, it has a small following compared to other systems, so from a business perspective it hardly seems worth the effort.  

Well, remember the 5200 was only available in the US, so that limits the audience for it.  The sad thing is that its game library is excellent.  Almost every game released for it was good!

At least you guys got something you're excited about.  I ended up wasting nearly $50.00 on an F-22 Raptor model because I was stupid ordering at 3:30 in the morning without coffee in my system and therefore didn't think to read it's actual size.  Below are the Franklin Mint models for size comparison.

Thanks, I really not looking for yet another game machine.  I'd like to feed my real 5200 some new games or even a new cartridge.  I remember there was a remake of Omega Race for it a few years back, but I cannot remember the name of it. (getting old sucks).

I hear about the VCS, I hear about the 7800 and all the recharged PC goodies.  But I have to wonder, will the new Atari ever give any love to us 5200 die hards?  Even if they simply went out and bought the rights to the best of the best hacks from enthusiast programmers and slapped the Atari name and label on a cartridge it would nice.  The last game I purchase for the 5200 was Tempest from AA (now owned by Atari).  Being able to get some NEW & GOOD games for Big Sexy sure would be nice. 

Awww maaaaan!  I wish I had known.  Oh well, toner is cheap.
