    Congratulations RickR!

Congratulations to @Marco1019 on another incredible victory! Squad Legend Marco takes the top spot in our Final Standings with an outstanding score of 43,669 points. Incredible! @socrates63 is back in action and hot on Marco's tail, closing out in 2nd with an absolutely stellar 42,042 points! @Atari 5200 Guy fought valiantly for 3rd Place and takes it with 32,804 points. "The Mayor" @greenween comes in with 26,969 points to take 4th, and "The Don" @RickR takes 5th Place in our Final Standings with a cool 18,463 points. Squad Challenge newcomer and VCS Legend @Mockduck scored 15,704 points to take 6th Place on the board. @Mockduck receives an asterisk* next to his name in the Final Standings as he posted his 7800 Centipede score in the Club VCS Recharged Squad Challenge for Centipede: Recharged - but Mockduck posted his score on time and played in good faith, and we want to acknowledge his gamesmanship and be sure his 7800 Centipede score is included with the rest of ours. Welcome to High Score Squad @Mockduck! We also welcome back once again recent Squad Challenge newcomer @Smell Dawg who takes 7th Place with a strong showing of 15,625 points. @TrekMD beams up with 11,370 points, taking 8th Place, and VCS Guru @Sabertooth fought a fierce battle, taking 9th Place with 10,470 points.
We had a great Double Feature this month with the Atari 7800 and the VCS! As always I'd like to encourage the legendary @Marco1019 to  post his high score on the Scoreboard, and let's make sure this Challenge continues on! Congratulations once again to Marco for his BIG WIN, and I want to thank both @Gianna for nominating this game, as well as @Sabertooth for hosting the other end of this Double Feature in Club VCS!
👉 Be sure to join Club VCS this month to participate in our Recharged Squad Challenges for the new Atari VCS!
COMING UP NEXT IN HIGH SCORE SQUAD: Our next Squad Challenge is R-TYPE for the Sega Master System. Be there!

I don't have the boxes either.  Those are from a post in Atari Age.  I've tried to see if more could be made but, no such luck.  I wonder if Marc would be willing to make them.  I've never asked him.  I have many images...  🙂

Well I've been trying new things on the channel.  Still being within the first 90 days I figure now is a great time to experiment.  So I've done a couple live streams that went pretty ok I think.  The live interactions was great but you can watch the replay here:

After the Water Ski stream I played that one again and actually conquered it!  And my God, after so many years of trying that ending was sure something.  Maybe one of the greatest video game endings ever?  At least on the 7800 right?  It definitely wasn't disappointing and anticlimactic!  I decided to just do some quick and dirty editing and post it as an extra video this week.  I mean there isn't a lot to tell about the development and Froggo because so little is known of them.  So here's a bonus Man vs 7800!

Tomorrow I'll have a review of Yars Recharged for the Atari VCS and Thursday I should have my final thoughts, aka my review of the Atari VCS itself!  I'm not sure what I'll do after Thursday so stay tuned as we fly by the seat of our pants!  And as always thanks for the support guys!  I never thought I'd find more than a hundred people that would care what I have to say.  Being able to get 600 subscribers and talking Atari with you all has been a great boon to my experience with the hobby.  Thank you!

I had asked Bob to make one for the 7800 and he was open to the idea but with the changes now, I doubt it'll happen.

OK, just finished watching the video.  It was nicely done and it covers all the titles fairly quickly but with enough about each one to get a sense of the games.
I've had a Lynx since the model 2 was launched.  I bought it in KayBee Toys.  Remember them?!  I still have the original box and I think it even has the price tag on it.  I decided to get as many games as I could for it.  My cousins had a GameBoy and they envied the color screen on my Lynx.  Over the years I managed to get all the official release games for the Lynx and I've also collected many of the homebrews.  The one release I'm missing is P.I.T.S. Driving School which was used in Germany for teaching people how to drive.
I have to Lynx units, both model 2.  I've never used a model 1 but I've seen it at conventions.  I did upgrade the screen one of my units to a modern LCD and it gave the system a new life.  It is night and day when compared to the original screen.  The only games that doesn't look as good, or at least its title screen, is the homebrew Alpine Games because that was one programmed to take advantage of the limitations of the original LCD screen when it was displayed.  It doesn't look as nice with a modern screen.  The game itself, however, looks great.
I have several cases for the Lynx and for the games, both official and unofficial.  I also have prototype games and early homebrew releases that were made using PCB cards with no labels.  I decided to create labels for all those titles.  If you want to see the, just check out this thread at RVG:  TrekMD's Collection.  The Lynx is on Page 1 of the thread, below all the 2600 stuff.
Now, one thing I've never been able to do is use the Lynx with the ComLynx cable!  I'd love to try out Gauntlet with more players!
Well, @MaximumRD, hope that gives you a bit of sense about my experience with the Lynx.  🙂

Totally agree. I hope this perceived backlash doesn't discourage Atari from continuing to deliver hardware options compatible with legacy systems. Atari deserves credit for shipping actual products, which is unlikely to happen with Amico.
