Agreed Solaris is killer! Blew me away back in the day.

I always like to watch these videos to see what other people consider impressive games on the 2600.  It's a cool list of 2600 games and he includes my most favorite version of Frogger.
 

I have to admit that he chose some really good games. Battlezone and The Official Fogger are in my top 5 of original releases. I like Commando, but prefer Ikari Warriors, because you can hop in and out of the tanks. I used to play the coin-op BITD and loved that part of the game. Solaris is a really good game. I think it gets overlooked because most prefer Star Raiders. Nice to see Tunnel Runner get some love. Thanks for posting the video. It's actually a pretty good one.👍

I believe I picked up Game Panic cartridge from John Hancock at PRGE when it first released. Now that the case and manual are available, I got them along with his latest port of Sock Em and Block Em for the 7800.

I ripped this image out of the recent Chicago TI Computer Club newsletter and colorized it for a little nostalgia.  Time flies, so it's hard to believe it's been over 40 years since we saw images like this in stores all over these United States...

I hadn't seen this posted, so I thought I'd share:  Rare SNES Game 'Dottie Flowers' Is Now Available To Download For Free (Was previously limited to 100 physical copies).  Not sure how those who bought one of those 100 copies feel about this but cool to see the game shared...

 
 

I played the demo a few times now and wish the scrolling was faster. Also, sometimes it felt like the detection of where a hole is, for example, was not working that precise. But hey, maybe that's just me sucking at the game. I kinda like the concept, but so far, I would not play it again, to be honest. It feels a bit dull to me, but we'll see how much will change in the finished version. I look more forward to "Jumping at Shadows"

I came across this documentary on YouTube. I hope everyone here find it as enjoyable as I did.
 
 

I played one at someone's house when I was little. All the adults were talking and the people who's house it was, just said, "Here play with this." Now I was used to my NES and Super Mario Bros, or my Atari VCS and Pole Position, but I remember finding enough enjoyment in this to make it to the end of the evening. 😛

I think even scaling the playfield as he bounces up and down MODE 7 style would really make it feel less, I don't wanna say disorienting, but more pleasing to the eye/natural.
