Recently one of my Coworkers found this when cleaning out his Grandfather's house.  He knew that I collected Commodore stuff - so he grabbed it for me.  I am so excited to own one again (I had one back in the day, but we got rid of it when we upgraded to a 128 since it doesn't fit that machine's form factor)

Holy Carp - I finally finished the race!  For me switching to a gamepad made a big difference.  I no longer was accidentally down shifting when things got tense and I feel like I had a little better response time.

So I wanted to talk about how much I enjoyed The Tomorrow war.  It was published by Amazon for Prime video, but it has that 90's summer blockbuster feel from start to end.  
When I was watching it, it reminded me of how I felt when watching ID4 for the first time back when it was released.  It has a cheesy Sci-Fi plot with great special effects and was one of the most enjoyable new popcorn flicks that I have seen in years.  
If you are looking for something to watch while staying inside your air conditioning to beat the heat- I recommend that you suspend your disbelief, ignore the many plot holes, and enjoy a fun retro-style summer blockbuster.

Can I mention Andre From Pagefire on a technicality?  Most of his stuff is in English, but he is Norwegian.  He does a lot of songs in different genres of rock and metal and they usually end up being great examples of that genre... even though they are from a video mostly making fun of said genre.
 
Also, I'm not sure if I need to mention bands like Rammstein or Entombed here... pretty sure most metal fans already have opinions of them, but they are the bands that got me into metal in the first place.

When you are done listening to that...try listening to "The One", "Road to Resistance", "Distortion", and then try this...
The band in the first video was fake playing but it's still an awesome song.  The band in the other songs I suggested and with them performing with Rob Halford of Iron Maiden is their real band and they are sick!  That drummer is awesome as was the rest of the members.  I especially loved their lead guitarist.

this is a hard one.  I haven't had a lot of time to play, but my high so far is just 4,600

First I've heard of it myself , the homebrewers always do a great job !!!
They usually have a way to disable the background music as they know some people like to sneek a few games in in the middle of everybody sleeping :P
You can still pretend it's Berzerk but as you play as Evil Otto & are allowed to touch the walls ( Did anyone else think they were playing as him? -or- was it just me )

Wow!  That addresses my biggest complaint with the Atari 2600 version - The rooms get filled in after you are finished with them.  I might have to check it out at some point... I hope that you can turn the music off though! 

wow - I love the intellivision port of Venture, but I have hardly played the atari 2600 one.  This should be fun!

I need to play some more to see if I can get a better score.  By the way, has anyone seen and tried Venture Reloaded?

Congratulations to everyone who joined in the big race!! Suzuka was the hardest track to race, difficult enough to provide tremendous challenge to us adult players but still hopefully fun to play!
@Marco1019 takes the grand prix championship this year with a high score of 51,250 points! Congratulations Marco! @MaliciousCarp takes 2nd Place with 42,590 points, and I take 3rd with a score of 42,550. @Gianna came in 4th Place with her score of 31,560, @RickR takes 5th with 31,320, @Sabertooth takes 6th Place with 31,300, and @TrekMD rounds things out with 18,630 points. Congratulations to Marco on his big win, and I hope everybody had fun playing in our annual Pole Position II Grand Prix!

I always end up in 3rd place on the positioning round.  I'll bet my score would go up if I could get at least 2nd.

That is cool!  I remember the 8-Bit Guy doing a review of this on his "8-bit keys" channel.
