  1. I’m so flipping happy right now. I’ve been looking for this game for years and years. I finally found a copy of it! I got this from a different game store than the one I usually go to. The save battery is dead (I wish the store told me that beforehand but no biggie), but at least I have a copy of it. I now own physical copies of every 2D Metroid game! Now I just have to wait for Dread to come out…
  2. I think you have more loose carts that you didn’t know about than I have loose carts period! Awesome find @MaximumRD!
  3. Now you REALLY look like that scientist from Pokémon!
  4. Thanks, @Troff! Happy to see you here! I’ve been thinking about blogging more recently. Perhaps this was the push I needed to motivate myself. Take care and best wishes, Harry
  5. A closer look at my NES collection.
  6. That game is awesome but it ruined my life in several ways. I both love and hate it. But it’s so hard! And I passed up a super game boy to get it and the next day I found a bunch of game boy games in the basement with no game boy!
  7. Thanks for keeping the three Marios in chronological order! Is that Startropics I see?
  8. Oh geez. I’m so sorry for your loss. My condolences.
  9. Those are in fantastic condition. I have a few O2 boxes myself. I see boxed games usually go for five or ten bucks.
  10. Forgot to mention it, but I got this with Mario Deluxe. Anyone played this before? I’ve NEVER seen anyone ever talk about it. I imagine it’s one of the rarer Odyssey 2 games as I’ve never seen it in person before or mentioned outside of the catalogs, but it was pretty cheap. It’s a ton of fun.
  11. Tim was sold as it is @RickR. I wonder if it was made like that or if the previous owners painted it.
  12. NOOOO! The horror! The odyssey 2 is so good! I’m kidding of course. You have some great pickups there. That Frogger game is pretty interesting. They used the same box art for a ton of arcade ports of Frogger to things like the SNES and Genesis, but the PS1 version iirc is an original game! And it has the same art! Weird, huh? I saw some great sports games at the store the other day. I don’t remember if Baseball was there. I know, right? It’s a great package with tons of content. Plus, I’ve played so much SMB that I’ve practically memorized the level layouts at this point. I somehow managed to beat Lost Levels with the screen crunch as a kid, and that’s the only way I’ve ever beaten that game.
  13. Ive talked about my games in my game room a lot here, but I don’t think I’ve mentioned one of my favorite parts about it. This is Tim the goose. He lives in my game room. I found him at a garage sale for a dollar a few months back. I’m happy to have him here; he adds a lot to the atmosphere of the place. And hey, I love geese! I Thought it’d be a nice change of pace to show you guys Tim.
  14. I love this game. I’m happy to finally own a copy.
  15. That reeks of 80s, and I love it for that reason. Awesome find.
  16. I made this myself and I’m quite proud of it.
  17. Huh. I never expected it to be good. Interesting take, @Sabertooth!
  18. This thread has made me give some of these games another go, and now I’m hooked on this blasted thing. Curse you, nasty Othello computer! As for that picture, here you guys go. It’s not much but it’s something. I didn’t realize I had so few Classic games! I’d like to collect more, but I’m not sure I can justify collecting more 2600 games with an Unocart. I know many of you have said it’s fine to collect more, but I’m not sure myself. Maybe eventually, but not just yet. Anyways of these games, Video Chess is probably my favorite. Casino is great too. I’m too bad at 3DTTT and I’m not sure if I like it against the computer just yet (but it’s fun with others).
  19. Thanks for the offer, @RickR. I talked to my dad though, and he says he’s good for now. But thanks anyways.
  20. Anybody have Atari Flashback Classics for switch? I just got it from the library. I’d love to play some online Atari with you guys!

Thanks, Harry.  I know I've asked before, but is there a model of Switch I should avoid?  I think you said to avoid the cheaper model that does not have the detachable joy-slidey things, as they tend to break after a year.

      Yeah. Avoid the “lite” model.

Yup, dad and I just got it.  Down to play!

  21. My dad had QFTR back in the day. When we got our O2 a few months ago, he wanted to collect all the games he had as a kid. He was devastated to see the price tag on a complete Quest for the Rings, lol.
