nosweargamer got a reaction from Lost Dragon in NSG's Plug n Play Reviews
What's funny is I still need to review the mini atari joystick pnp I got from the junk box which I thought came from you!

PnP's are great & you touched on their charm ... their colorful design & pretty accurate gameplay
if you see these games in an arcade don't pass them by ...
Bosconian plays better in the arcade because of the 8 way joystick as opposed to the 4 way joystick on this unit you'll see in attract mode ship moving diagonally as it should be able to.
I had toyed with the idea of finding a way to eliminate "the re-stricter plate" on the inside but didn't want to destroy my unit.

A big thank you to Rowsdower for this Pac-Man Plug n Play! And evidently, I'm a dragon serial killer too!
In one of my quickest turnarounds ever, I've already posted a review of it on my YouTube channel (I have games I recorded footage of months ago still waiting for their chance to get on the air)

I confess. I like Plug n Play units. Perhaps its something about having a bunch of console or arcade games from my childhood all packed into a single joystick. They also seem to be one of my most popular review features on my channel. So I decided to make a thread highlighting them, in case you enjoy them too.
I'll start with a unit I just got from a trade here on the forums from Rowsdower!
It's the Namco Pac-Man TV Games unit by Jakks Pacific:

Raw Thrills the people behind Galaga Assault, Worlds Biggest Pac Man, Aliens Armageddon and many other cool modern arcade games comes this awesome Pac Man Premium L.E.D. desktop clock!
This is an officially licensed product from Bandai Namco and is a limited edition item. Comes in a nice sturdy well decorated cardboard box with instructions, power supply and the clock.
The clock does not have sound, but does feature two neat animations from the Pac Man arcade game - ghosts chasing Pac Man and then Pac Man chasing the scared blue ghosts.
The display is made up of multi-color L.E.D.s and are very crisp and bright. On the back of the unit are two buttons, one to get into the time setting mode and the other to set the time (12/24, Hours, Minutes)
Pros:
Bright full color L.E.D. display Pac Man arcade animations Compact size for desk - 8x4 Cons:
No sound effects No clock memory of power is removed Overall a really nice desk top clock, especially for all us Pac Man nuts!
Visit Raw Thrills webpage for purchasing info and what other cool things this company does!

nosweargamer got a reaction from The Professor in Show Off Your Successful Trades!
For some reason, seeing your picture inspired me to add matching eye patches to the main characters.
I even gave a double eye patch to one of the soldiers, but since it looks like he has three eye, he should still be able to see.
Thanks to Ballblazer for given me another Atari game where the art far exceeds the game:

Some manuals for trade. ET has a fold in the middle.

Great stuff Willie. I agree. I really dislike it when people sell repros and try to pass it off as the real thing, especially with a pricey game like MUSHA.
And btw, I totally dig the Pinball Electronica theme. It's more modern, but I really enjoyed the Williams and Gottlieb collections on the Wii. I played the Tiger handheld pinball, but it didn't do much for me. Wildfire looks cool though.
