How high will my dad's old shoes go? http://www.ebay.com/itm/232412397813?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

RickR is currently playing Need For Speed Underground for Gamecube. I like the XBOX version of this game best.
-
I think I've only played the GBA version (or maybe it was DS)
-
Out of all three consoles from that generation it seems that the XBOX had the upper hand with titles available on all three consoles. GC's version of Most Wanted was horrible and didn't show off the GC's graphic abilities at all. Only a few did including Metroid Prime series.

Anyone heard from the No Swear Gamer? I'm a little concerned....
-
It says he hasn't logged in for 8 days. That's not like him. He did have a gameplay video yesterday, but he might've uploaded it a week ago and set it to publish yesterday. I hope he's just on vacation or something.
-
I didn't realize he was MIA. I sent him a PM last night but haven't heard from him.

He's a good guy. I hope all is well with him.

One of my kids just said he learned to swear from AVGN! Ha ha ha!

Heh heh. Reminds me of my family's first experience with AVGN. Back when my brother and I were first being introduced to the Internet as pre-teens, my brother looked up Spider-Man on YouTube, and was watching a bunch of random videos that popped up from the search. Eventually, he ended up clicking on the AVGN Spider-Man theme song parody, and Mom walked into the room right as it began to play. She was very upset about it, because there were some words in it that my brother and I had never...

(continued) heard before. That's how learned how to be careful what we did online.
Years later, when I was in high school, I discovered AVGN (I didn't know at the time that it was where that song came from), and got a lot of laughs from watching his videos. Then one day, I watched his Spider-Man review, and that song came on at the end, and I was like, "Holy cow! This is that song!" That was a pretty funny moment.

Awesome job Rick!

Sweet! What do you think of the mod? I did that for StormSurge.

I think it's awesome. Works great, looks great, sounds great.

My vinyld collection has been SOLD! The only one I kept was "The Sounds of Terror", a Halloween album with a really cool label.

Yeah, I can see that would make is special. I found my old records and really loved the big giant beautiful covers and inserts. Why don't they do that anymore? Photographs and artwork were so awesome back then. It's kind of like we've lost part of the artwork these days.

I feel the same way with downloading games instead of having something real to hold onto!

Yeah, like those great large DOS game boxes I had. And for vinyls, I also still expect the pops when listening to old records on new formats.
