  1. See? That's what I'm talking about. At $1 of $2 a pop, it's fun.
  2. Your list is fantastic. I'd include "Wii Sports". It's a great bundle of fun games.
  3. Do you just ask for a toy, or do you ask for a specific toy? Like "I want the Mario toy"?
  4. I feel like it's really going to help my plane anxiety.
  5. This is getting addicting. 9 more UMD movies. I finally have my first duplicate: "National Treasure 2". Who needs a copy?
  6. Tremendous haul there justin. That Slimer is cool.
  7. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Analog-PC-Joystick-GamePad-to-Atari-5200-Adapter-w-Full-KeyPad-/152527704722?hash=item23835c1292%3Ag%3ArI4AAOSw7XBY8Bq1 I'm not endorsing this...I just found it interesting, and it may be worth a look. Looks like it allows the use of an old PC joystick or gamepad (with 15 pin connector) on a 5200. It may be a really nice alternative to the super expensive digital joysticks for 5200.
  8. Legally, you can only use that console for promotional use. The sticker says so. And stickers never lie.
  9. That Enjoy Stick immediately reminded me of the "Mr Bones" candy: Just like candy, those are some SWEET sticks you got there.
  10. Two more for the collection that I picked up from ebay. The one on the left seems like a rebadged Gemstik. The one on the right is terrible. So loose and unresponsive. Can we blame the crash on crap like this instead of ET?
  11. You think she could make a pillow? I've been working my ass off lately. Sitting on the backs of my legs kind of hurts.
  12. Always cool to get a boxed console. Very nice indeed.
  13. Sorry to hear about your job. Best of luck to you in finding something new and better.
  14. Gemini is the 3rd astrological sign...so maybe the 3rd is Colecovision day.
  15. You could put a Genesis on top of it! I've never seen one of those, but it sure does look nice. Another cool thing about old retro systems is that they used to make sweet arcade-like custom controllers like this. I'm a big fan of the NES Advantage stick and the non-cheese/cracker Sega stick.
  16. There's something oddly satisfying about bad games. You guys ever try "Forbidden Forest"? On the C64, the game looks bad, but it's actually very fun. It has great music, challenging controls (that make you want to keep trying), and parallax scrolling. It looks like they used regular characters for graphics, but it's still a great game. Then there's the Atari port. Take away the music, the parallax scrolling, and all of the fun.
  17. I haven't heard of this one. But it sounds so bad, it may be fun to give it a try!
  18. Happy Atari day tomorrow (4/26)!

      The Professor

      Happy Atari Day Rick!

  19. It does indeed. And it works well. I used that rig for testing controllers, and was always amazed with the perfect video quality. I'm just happy it's gone to a good home. And thank you for being a good sport about the slow shipping. We ended up using USPS Parcel Select, and it took forever. But that was the lowest price option.
  20. Great info. This doesn't look hard. It does look to be somewhat costly in materials and time. I'm going to give some thought to giving this a try. And if I try, it won't be for just one....
  21. It looks like it has a face and gremlin ears to me.
  22. Good news. You get my good wishes, but you probably will do great with or without them.
