THANK YOU guys for the recommendation. I haven't watched at all yet, as we are not quite done with "Andor". It is next on our list though. (PS - Andor is pretty "meh" IMO. I understand what they are trying to do, and I can appreciate it. But it's so slow and also devoid of any humor or joy (so far)). I'm very much looking forward to SNW. Not true in regards to an honest opinion on movies or tv shows or whatever. For example, I think we all can agree that magic turbolift in Discovery should never be mentioned out loud again, and that season 2 of Picard was weak in comparison to 1 and 3.

Oh, and sorry to be more long-winded than normal...but I also got a new security cam. At $28, this one seems to be a steal. For me, it's much higher resolution than my old one, allows voice communication, and has a simple phone-app interface. I didn't post it, but I recently purchased an inexpensive, off-brand "cordless" waterpik on Amazon just to try it out and compare to the "big" model. It works well! I am very happy with it. It takes up less space and needs to be refilled before every use. Kind of a weird one here. I finally got myself an autofocus lens for this nice Nikon digital camera body. I've had the camera for a while now, but only had manual lenses to go with it. This AF lens will be a lot easier to use. I don't care too much about the auto-focus part -- it's the automatic F-Stop and timing that will save me a lot of thought and time. 35-80mm make it very versatile for wide shots and decent zoom.

Here's another RickR newbie question: Where is the best place to buy software for the Evercade in the USA? I've been struggling with this one a bit. As a member of Club Evercade, I've been keeping my eye on the newest releases. But I have no idea where to buy them here. The Evercade web site is UK based. I've bought games on ebay, and I see Amazon has them as well (but selection there is not great). Gamestop has none. Target has none. Walmart has some (on-line), but prices are pretty high. So...where is the best place to buy both new and older Evercade games?

Wow! Nice. What's the story with the black orig Evercade? Is that an overlay? Or was choosing black or white an option?

Here is mine. I've just gotten started with Evercade, but I feel like I have a lot of great cartridges already. I purchased someone else's collection a few months ago and have added a few since then. Slowly but surely, I'm going to keep on adding to what I've got here.

I've had dreams like that before too! The one I've had more than once is coming across an abandoned Toys R Us (it's usually the haunted one in Garden Grove, CA) and somehow being allowed in (under the pretense of it being risky to do so due to it being haunted), and me not hesitating at all. I go straight to the cage, figure out how to break in, and grab as much stuff as I can! It's a great dream! I think sometimes I go find a wagon and use that to load stuff up.

This is true, I've noticed the same thing. Shipping via Fedex...things move quickly until the last stop in Troutdale. For whatever reason, they end up staying there for at least a day (as you mentioned). Hopefully they get their issues fixed soon. On the bright side, they do usually show up and the drivers are very nice and polite.

ANY game with a real-looking crossbow controller was going to get some serious attention from us kids! Lets be honest, the games with sweet custom controls were the best games of all. Sit-down Pole Position, Battlezone with two sticks and the periscope, Stunt Cycle, even Tron with its black-light enhanced controls.....

Wait...mail to Portland and not to me??? (I'm kidding of course!) USPS has been pretty good to me. Ebay sales to almost anywhere in the country arrive in 2 days (Priority Mail). Maybe I'm just lucky. Plus I really love how they pick stuff up at my home for free. I schedule a pickup through the web site and it works like a champ. My guess is that it's the local post office that sets the tone for getting stuff delivered quickly. Because in the tracking, I can see my packages getting processed and sent out of Portland FAST...usually the same day they pick them up.
