I pre-ordered the physical release for the Nintendo Switch when it came out. I haven't had a chance to play it. What have you played on it?

Mostly, it's fun to read and watch all the history bits.
The coin op games are a ton of fun. There's some obscure stuff on there. But the real prize is Tempest with the VCS spinner. It's a lot of fun to play that way.

Micro Pinball has arrived! It took about two weeks, which was expected.
FedEX delivered it to the wrong address (the house next door). No biggie, but still. Not cool. My poor neighbor was embarrassed that I saw her in PJ's. Oops.
I'm not sure that I'll have time to open and assemble this today, but I will post here when I do.

There's an unprecedented heat-wave here. I've had to move my collection out of the attic. It's way too hot in there for this stuff. Future plans include selling some of this stuff off and moving the rest into the garage (which is far more climate-controlled).

I have a plan formulated to move garage stuff up into the attic and my collection into the garage. It will take some time, and that's a lot of carrying/stairs. But it's a plan. And I already have a pile of garage stuff to ditch.

How did I find it? I don't remember. Most likely it was an ebay purchase many years ago.
It's fascinating to me. What was Mattel thinking? There is no way it could compete with the VIC-20. It's games were worse than the Intellivision. It's just a complete miss.
As a collectible, it's interesting. The shape of the computer is cool. The version of BASIC included is excellent. It's kind of rare I guess.
Hopefully I can find an appreciative buyer.

Recent pickups.
I've been wanting Colecovision "One on One" for a long time. It's the crappiest version of one of my favorite games.
The Lynx SD cart is just plain awesome.

Funny that you mention this now, as I just turned on a McCartney song for the first time in a while.
I do miss my record player; I've had to put it away for a while to make room for all the Christmas decorating. Your's seems to be of a much-higher quality!
There are a few good songs on that album, "Coming Up" is one, but its generally regarded as one of his weaker albums. I don't think I've listened to that album in its entirety. Then again, they said that McCartney 1 wasn't great, and I rather enjoyed that one. That one celebrated its fiftieth anniversary this year. So, you do you. Don't assume that something is going to be bad because of its reputation. For instance, 2600 Pac-Man. I love that game! Who knows, you might like McCartney II after all (or maybe not).
I think I'll have to give that one a listen at some point. Perhaps I'll enjoy it.
And also, I see "2600 Space Invaders: The Album"! I believe that one's "Don't Look Back"? I don't listen to Boston.

This reminds me that I have "The Amazing Adventures of Pac-Man" on vinyl on display in my office. Time to fire that one up.
Honestly, I don't think I've listened to McCartney 2 all the way through. Not my cup of tea.
Our record player has a USB connector, so you could theoretically record digital copies of records. I have never tried that though.
