Ep 212: Turmoil

I ran the games in an emulator (Stella), and repeatedly took screen captures. I picked out the ones that had all the frames I needed, and then used a paint program to get the pieces and make small adjustments (for example, sprites that didn't show up well against white I made slightly darker). After saving each frame as an individual GIF, I used http://gifmaker.me/ to make them into a single animated GIF. There are other sites for making animated GIFs, but this was the only one I found that was handling transparency correctly.

I just wanted to update that Im currently in the market for GB, GBC, and GCA games for my personal collection.   Let me know what you got!

FYI, most of my 2600 games that didn't get trade (Thanks Rick and Rows!) have now been listed on ebay, however you are always free to search my ebay for possible trades.

These were added today to my duplicates. The parker brothers game is not for trade. I am looking for 2600 games. Let me know

Just came in. Let me know if you want more pictures of certain game. Still need to test, but usually Atari games are built like tanks. There is also a Smurf with a bad label in the mix and Fishing Derby is MINE!!!!!

Today I found these laser disks (Pioneer) for $2 each.   I don't have a player, and I hear they are pretty finicky anyways...but I couldn't resist.  Also a couple of Playstation AV cables for $0.50 each.

If you couldn't tell from my avatar, I'm a big Beatles fan. R.E.M. is my probably my second favorite. It's hard to narrow down to 5 what I like, so here are a few: Monkees, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Interpol, Spoon, 60s-70s Motown, Herman's Hermits, Vampire Weekend, They Might Be Giants, Beth Orton, Inbreds (from Canada, there's another one out there), Land of Talk, the Smithereens, Pink Floyd. I have been getting into some jazz recently, and I really like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Louis Armstrong. I will stop now.
