...Again!  Only suppose to get a few inches but I believe we have had enough snow.  My wife's homestate (Arizona) got snow in places that don't normally get snow.  It's official...Mother Nature is PMS'ing or upset about something.

For those wanting to buy a physical copy of the game, I suggest this place.  If you own a SNES and a Super GameBoy you should be set.

Sounds like if you have XBOX Live on your Switch you will also get to play online multiplayer games with fellow XBOX/PC/Android?iOS owners, too.

I don't own a Switch but have been monitoring what it's getting.  I believe the New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is similar to the New Super Mario Bros Wii.  Fun game and you really can't go wrong with a Super Mario game.  Those are usually top notch.  I've been hoping that Switch would get a F-Zero game but I've not heard of anything yet.

I love this game.  Unfortunately I don't have the game.  Finding the ROM will be almost impossible.  I may sit this one out and wait for the next one.
I did do a full run of this game but it was for another high score website.  However, maybe the video can offer some assistance should others get stuck.  It is NOT being offered as a high score attempt for this challenge.  It's not a perfect run as I did die a few times.  But the game was beaten in video (spoiler alert).
The video was captured by a feature in the emulator I was using which was still in beta.  Sounds are way behind the action on the screen (which annoys me).  I no longer have the ROM or emulator due to a hardware crash long ago.  My controller was a Madcatz XBOX controller  connected to a PC by a modified cable.  If I can get the game before the challenge ends I will post scores.  Otherwise have fun everyone.  This is easily a favorite.  It's a well balanced game and the music is good, too!

I wish I would have known that tactic sooner.  I'll have to try that one later.

First attempt:  32,000.  Game's tough as nails.
I removed score for forgetting to change the game's settings to match those required.

We need arcades again.  Nothing else will ever be like an arcade.  All of the sights, sounds, and smells, too.

That's very original. I've never seen that before on any game.  Too bad a year wasn't wrote down with those dates.

The original XBOX made it, too.  Two great consoles that deserve it.  One invented the game industry, the other changed the rules.  Pretty cool.

I have to admit, there was a LOT about the 2600 I never knew about until I found Atari IO and gave the 2600 an honest chance.  I got Robot Tank before I got Battlezone.  To my surprise both are very good games and it is easy to tell how they are both almost alike.  Robot Tank, however, took the Battlezone concept and blew it out of the water in my opinion.  The various elements that go up against the player in Robot Tank are astounding.  I like both games but I believe I like Robot Tank a tad bit better.  It just does so much more that helps the game retain some replay value over Battlezone.
Playing now.  Will have a score up soon.

Played a XBOX 360 Indie game today called MotorHEAT.  This game reminds me of Activision's Enduro.
On a side note, the video capture device I picked up last year came with some software I was using only to capture game play.  I just learned today that it does a LOT more than just capture video.  So, I played around with it by adding some text and image layers at the 3 & 4 minute marks.  I also added some during the second round of game play but can't remember the time mark.  And between the round 2 and round 3 sections I added a little something old school just for fun.  I'm going to try to figure out how to layer a smaller video of me playing the game with commentary on top of the game play videos.
I would appreciate it if those watching these would watch the video at least until the 3rd round starts to see the effects and added material for feedback/suggestions.  Otherwise, enjoy the video.

I still say that there is no such thing as a bad score.  The whole point is to have fun.  Then again, if other 5200 owners ran into controller issues like I did then I can understand the lack of participation.  That's why I use my 5200 often.  It keeps it working longer without issues.  Letting it sit ruins the controllers.

One tip I kind of discovered is to keep your wand in the middle of the screen as much as possible.  The spider can't surprise you there.  But that can be difficult when the centipedes make it down to the bottom.  And even then, the spider can still get you if you don't dodge fast enough.

I found this game to be very frustrating.  For most games, I usually get a little better the more I play.  But not this one.  I plateaued very quickly.
I did learn to appreciate the 5200 reset button on the controller though.  I ended up using that a lot.

Well I did give it a bit of a go but, 1, my scores were so abysmal I never snapped a pic. Barley cleared the first screen. Then I found myself busy with other projects that the time slipped away without my notice.
Congrats to @kamakazi20012 & runner up @RickR a big thanks to @Justin for these squad challenges for the opportunity for me to discover why I hate this game. and to@Atari Creep you's be welcome to come by & play it at my place if you ever head up North a bit. mebbe give me some pointers :)
