RickR Posted September 24, 2017 Report Posted September 24, 2017 Unfortunately, I have no luck running this ROM with EMU7800. I've tried several ways and the emulator can not recognize this game. Are you using the very latest version that's available through the Windows app store? That one plays Beef Drop just fine for me in Windows 10. Sabertooth 1
Arenafoot Posted September 25, 2017 Report Posted September 25, 2017 using EMU7800 v1.8 on WIN7 Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne
RadioPoultry Posted September 26, 2017 Report Posted September 26, 2017 I've been using v1.8 on Windows 10 and have had the same trouble.
RickR Posted September 26, 2017 Report Posted September 26, 2017 I've been using v1.8 on Windows 10 and have had the same trouble. For windows 10, go to the "Store" app and search for emu7800. Install that one (it does not seem to have a version number). That one works with these files and also does 2600 games. It is free. Arena, I don't know if Win 7 also supports the "store" app. But I think that's the only way to get that newer version that works.
RickR Posted September 26, 2017 Report Posted September 26, 2017 Guys, the Windows Store version of EMU7800 is version 2.2. Sabertooth 1
