ITEM unboxed purchased from RETRO MTL in Montreal Canada. Great prices, slection and service by gamers for gamers! I could not be happier with my purchase and highly recommend ! https://retromtl.com/ This is from a few weeks ago now, I did not upload right away as I been going through some personal things and honestly, was not sure I was going to upload this in the end OR edit it leaving out certain "details" regarding some bad events but I have decided the hell with it. Sharing all the details on why the console needed to be replaced, it's not a good reason. I had only shared this previously with a few real close friends in messages as I tend to keep certain things personal as well as I don't like to dwell on bad things in my channel but well, sometimes it helps sharing and getting things off my chest and some of you have been with me for years so in the end I have decided to just upload this video and all the details including the story that goes with it. It's a long one and it was literally unscripted as always, I didn't even know I was going to share the details once the video started or if I'd simply let it be about the unboxing but it just sort of came out and I guess thinking about it there was a reason for it. I sat on that unboxing video for like 3 weeks, was not sure I wanted to relate all the details I had only shared with like 2 people, I am very private in personal matters, I didn't plan to say all that stuff in the video, so I considered trying to edit out the theft details but I don't think it would have worked so then I considered doing a new video but I thought expaling why I now had a 3rd Colecovision would have been weird, it was all such a hassle so finally I decided to just upload it as is, glad I did, everyone has been really nice with understanding comments, from some youtube comments it seemed to strike a nerve with someothers that lost items either through theft or damage, I didn't want to do a feel sorry for me kind of thing but reactions and comments has helped me dealing with it to be honest. As my wife knows I am very private when it comes to personal details not like my out there "MaximumRD" persona in real life. I'm happy about that. Like you, they also had stuff stolen at the prior building. It was a good video. Thumbs up. Full disclosure, they are pretty bad, I had no idea about screen capture back then or couldn't be bothered so I simply recorded my monitor with my Sony Bloggie, I know that is what I used because during those moments I can hear a distinct clicking in the audio my Bloggie was exhibiting just before it died on me (in fact I had to make it a 2 part video due to the camera just quitting) I am posting them here now ONLY because I just noticed them on my "Backup" YT channel I made years ago, I only ever had 66 subs on that channel since it was only ever intended as a fallback in case my main channel got erased or hacked, thing is it seems for whatever reason they were not uploaded to my main channel and so likely never seen even by my MaximumRD subscribers. So, I figured what the hell, here they are if you are interested 🤷♂️looking back at my impressions of Windows 10 BEFORE I was running it natively. Windows 10 Tech Preview VirtualBox Install. (NOT A TUTORIAL !) Part 1. Way overdue video (THIS IS NOT intended as a tutorial!!!!) I intended to upload before but for the longest time I was not going to bother, this is why this is one of the first offering of Windows 10 Tech Preview however it does not make much difference as this is in no way a tutorial and nothing that would really help anyone trying to do the same, the video was more about the discussion and my thoughts and comments, what I am doing during my narration is secondary. I was just installing this in VirtualBox to check out for myself and thought MEH might as well record and also express my thoughts and ramble on about it. More than anything this was just something to do while I got it up and running but I decided to uploaded so you can hear my thoughts regarding Windows 10, Windows in general and just some ramblings on about why I do this and my interest in trying out various Operating Systems etc. . NOTE - The sudden ending is due to camera failure near the wrap up so I continued my thoughts and comments in a 2nd video that is just under 10 minutes! Windows 10 Tech Preview VirtualBox Install. Other than the obvious, I ask the Colecovision fans, historians and all those more knowledgeable, what are the details behind this? Was it this way right from the start or was it a deal made after launch and popularity of Colecovision requiring faster / cheaper production? My birthday was this past Feb 11th and was fine, little did I know my wife conspired with my buddy Ray who is a fan and collector of the related item enclosed and so worked with my wife to get this to me. I don't handle surprises well in most cases due to my anxiety, I NEED routine but in this case, I make an exception, she's so sweet and after 20 years of marriage lucky she still puts up with me lol.
