I finished watching the second part while on the treadmill at the gym.  This was such an excellent look at GCC and their work for Atari.  It does make you wonder what these guys could have achieved had the 7800 been released in 1984.  Nintendo would have had a hard time competing, I think, had the 7800 had a 3-year market lead.  It's unfortunate Jack Tramiel didn't want to do stuff with games. 
If you haven't watched these two videos, I highly recommend them.

I recall back in the day thinking what an amazing idea to have a double-ended game cart, I never got any and were any of the games worthwhile? The dream of course was to have two great games in a single cart but were any of these even as good as having one good single game? 😛🤔

The concept of "Toys R Us" never failed.  It was the leveraged buyout that killed them with too much debt. 

The name and logo definitely have value, and I'd love to see another toy store go big like that...with controlled growth and limited debt.

Been wanting this one in the collection for a very long time.  It is just the disc and front manual but the disc is in good condition and I'm happy to have this regardless. 

@Ballistik shared an article on his X (do we call it that now?) feed that Toys R Us is opening new stores!
The plan is for 24 flagship stores to open across the country, plus smaller stores in airports and aboard cruise ships.
It will be interesting to see if this new iteration of the iconic store is successful. Now having a little one, I am happy to hear that she may get to experience some of the wonder of a giant specialty toy store.

Also, I read five or so articles about this and not one of them said anything like, "the current holders of the Toys R Us name." Not all iconic legacy brands get the same grace I guess.

Just a small update and some thoughts in general, but last night I streamed Midnight Mutants and it was a lot of fun. There about 8-9 people that are active in the chat and they talked about the game, old television, wrestling and of course, Atari in general.  There was about 14 other people that cycled in and out but it was great fun.  I really like that people are chatting with each other, maybe we can build a nice little community.  Here's the replay of your so inclined...
also, this Thursdays feature is being switched from my Final Thoughts on the Atari VCS or the Atari VCS Review to "Why Did Atari Coin Op Love the NES & Hate the 7800".  Over that's a shorter video than I expected it to be but I wanted to keep it concise and to the point. I really want to dress it up though to make it an entertaining watch. 
I don't know when the VCS review will go out as I wanted to do the Halloween Special and Galaxian Review next week but it's good to have a video in my back pocket I guess. 
I'm shocked at how many videos I want to do on the 7800 and Atari in general.  I have so many ideas and I haven't forgotten any.  I still want to put out "A Definitive Guide to 7800 Controllers", "In Defense of Jack Tramiel and the 7800", "Recommended Reading for Atari Fans", "What's the Deal with Atari 2600 Red Box Games", "Comparing all NES and 7800 Multiplatform Games" and so many more.  Not to mention reviews for Jinks, Delta Space Arena, Venture, Wizards Dungeon, Tank Command and more.  Hopefully I get all these out eventually...

Yes, something to do with licensing as well.  It has been very disappointing.

I'm glad I have all their Evercade collections.  I'm not surprised this is happening given what Atari has been doing lately.
