    Yaay! It's here!

Interesting that he did that, but understandable given his preferences. You talk about the NES having more complex games and the 7800 having more arcadey titles, and that's true. You know how people say the TurboGrafx-16 is a 16-bit console with the heart of an 8-bit console? I feel the 7800 is kind of like that. A 3rd gen console with the heart of a 2nd gen console.

If anyone is wondering this is a 1988 model 7800

Honestly, I've already gotten used to it. I think it's underrated. Not the best controller by any stretch of the imagination, but decent. Also: Pole Position II. Great game, terrible pack in. No way it could compete with SMB, or Duck Hunt, or even World Class Track Meet. Not good even for 1984. Should've been Food Fight or Ms. Pac-Man. But I love this game. Not bad, just a poor choice to pack it in on Atari's part. Thank you all for making this 7800 possible!

Working on the Squad Challenge thing. Not as good at this as I am at the 2600 prequel!
  5. I'm so happy to be a proud owner of an Atari 7800! :pole_position::atari_7800:

  6. I finally got my 7800 today. It's a bit disappointing that it only came with Pole Position II because they said they'd put a few games with it, but I don't really mind. I like PP2 quite a bit. I wish I had Food Fight though. I also like the ProLine controllers. I tested them with a few games. It worked good with PP2 and Pac-Man, but not so good with Defender and Tunnel Runner.
  7. Thanks for bringing more people over to the site, @nosweargamer. My favorite wrestler is nobody, so make sure not to enter me in! Give it to someone who really wants it! But thanks for bringing some traffic this way, like you did last month.
  8. Yes actually. I saw this video a while back. I thought I was the only one to make that comparison!
  9. You are 100% right. It is a orangy fruit punch, not very carbonated. The sprite one isn't a true orange pop either I believe. I hate the pops at McD's.
  10. I didn't suffer through it man. In fact, I didn't know about the hate until after I watched it. I thought it was actually pretty good. Not as good as Raiders or Last Crusade, but still a solid movie.
  11. @Gianna McDonald's has always had the worst selection of pop. I hate it. The only Diet one they have is Coke and that just tastes weird there. Good thing it's much cheaper than other places.
  12. For some unknown reason I have never seen Temple of Doom. I've seen the rest of them and enjoyed them all thoroughly, even Crystal Skull. But for some reason I have never seen Temple of Doom.
  13. Too obvious I thought. E.T.'s a good game, but Adventure is easily superior. Maybe compared to ?
  14. Which one of these games do you enjoy more? Not the better game, but what has brought you more enjoyment over the years. Be sure to elaborate down below if you so desire! Me, I'm 100% Adventure. Zelda is cool for what it did for the industry, but it's too cryptic and confusing for me to enjoy without a guide. Adventure has aged much better in my opinion. But what's your favorite?
  15. I obviously can't speak for them. Though I am technically a youth, my childhood is so radically different in some aspects that it is hard to compare. I don't think either of my parents got a smartphone before 2014. I was raised on obsolete media. I didn't even get my own phone until last year and still, it's an iPhone 5. I couldn't get Snapchat or Tiktok on there even if I wanted to (and BELIEVE ME, I don't want to).
  16. We still have a few "computer dealers" around here. It's a miracle they are still open.
  17. Wish older consoles had online gaming. I'd love to play Artillery Duel with someone here!

That's exactly what we came up with 2-Player Battle for. Check it out:

I was going to suggest what @Justin did.  It works!

  18. @Duckie25 I am not Canadian like you are, but my good friend Wingoose is. You will see why we named him that. He's a wild goose that has become sort of our pet over quarantine. As you can see, he's never too far away than when he was last! This is also my I/O profile picture!
  19. It's been 5 days and still no 7800. I don't want to sound rude and complain but I wonder what's going on? I hope the guy isn't having any serious issues in his life.
  20. I was never a Transformers kind of guy, even after I got this on Christmas 2011 from a family friend. But I've kept this "pinball machine" all these years later because it's kind of cool. Obviously, it's not very complex. "Real pinball" is much more sophisticated. But I've always enjoyed it, even though there's no way to mute the 2-second music loop.
  21. I never bought anything at TRU. Well, actually, there was this one time when I was either 3 or 4 years old. I went there with my grandparents and there was this pencil doodle thing with a trak pad that you wrote letters with or something. I loved that thing. It broke when I was maybe 6. Otherwise I have no memories there. I never went to many strictly-you stores when I was a young child.
  22. 64 bits. 32 bits. 16 bits. 8 bits. 4 bits, 2 bits, 1 bit, half bit, quarter bit, THE WRIST GAMES!!!!! But seriously I've heard nothing but terrible things about Tiger games. I think the only one I've played was Bartman, and that wasn't great. But I love LCD games so much I'm pro-rereleases.
