the difficulty I think I am having is that the ball is square, and theses aren't "PAPA rules" https://papa.org/
but it IS pinball so I am going to complain the whole time

haven't really played this since when it first came out.
got it plugged in to my console & gave it a run (no pic) tilted once ... I used to beable to keep in in the left upper lane for quite awhile
after tilt you still get your bonus it seemed so "Push that machine through the wall "
yeah busy summer for me too so will try to get some kind of score up
thanks NSG

I love my BotW store display. A buddy of mine got 2 of them and he game one to me. He knows im a big Zelda guy. Im going to have to share my other store displays later.
As far as a stand, there is a matching stand specific to that TV. I have actually located one but it's a pretty far drive. I might just go get it. This is what it looks like.
That's a pretty handsome stand, how far is the drive?
Might have to "make a day of it" & try to discover a gamestore or arcade or something. sometime folks will meet halfway so they can "make a day of it"
might wanna put a rug down to tie the room together as well

Your TV is pretty awesome too.
same TV as opening shot in "The Big Lebowski" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118715/

I was thinking about this too. I was thinking about taking a picture at each dead clown break...but I think our only legitimate option is video. I'm a total newb in that regard, but I think I just need a tripod for my little video cam.
Yeah that's what I was doing, snapping a pic as I was getting closer. I did set up a tripod to snap the latest pic and have a couple snaps of previous scores. I might have to make some unique change to a series of pics so I don't get confused ( like change camera angle or something in foreground/background )
I am pretty please with the still-life of different 2600 controllers I have in my last post

YIKES!!!!
I hadn't reached my first posted score yet
I am curious as how to handle the rollover score, I know video would be optimal but could a still photo in the 9k range & a 2'nd still for the finished score work ? ( IF I ever get there )
keep flippin' ( oh wait that's a pinball term ...will work for THIS game )

Welcome to our 39th Squad Challenge! Circus Atari is one of the earlier releases for the Atari 2600 and is a nice twist on the classic PONG / Breakout theme. Killing clowns with teeter-totters is a lot of fun! The graphics are basic, even by 2600 standards, but gameplay is challenging and addictive. Especially if you like Breakout-type games. Enjoy!
I see what ya did thar' talking about paddle controllers
your not supposed to kill the clowns but will agree that is is rather fun.
I'll have to get in on this one too

getting closer to the score NSG put on his video ( that one doesn't count though )
still have to read the manual for the proper nomenclature but a good strategy for this challenge ... get extra ball as soon as possible .then juice the bumpers ... I am wondering if the lock-in at 9 or revert back to 1 ( only got 'em up to 8 so far ) then nudge the left bonus lane til your hand is cramped !!!
I have been ape-flipping this one and I know it caused atleast ONE drain .
