  1. Man, now I have the Sanford and Son song stuck in my head!

I'm moving, and my wife said no more stuff until after the move, but what the hell... I'm in!

I do have a vacation mid-September so I'd like to plan around that if possible.

full version if this helps :P

would be a great version to loop while unpacking, packing & re-packing a few times

Oh, so tempting!!! Can I mull on it this week and let ya know in a few days or so? Let me see whats doing in my collection.

if I mulled it over I'd be in I guess , took a break from the past couple of RJB's

  2. my nephews played Buck Bumble BITD , if I found one in the wild I'd snag it ... well actually almost had one but a gamestore guy said it wasn't for sale yet telling me they had to hold the stock for a couple weeks or some junk .... sorta made sense at the time but later I thought perhaps he just wanted it for himself. .... cute little game in a 3-D world like Mario-64

the 3-1 NES game came with the action set that included the dance-pad thingie ... not particularly "rare"

I would also advise NOT to use plastic card to make a purchase @goodwill ... fortunately my bank caught suspicious activity after me doing that. one time ;)

  3. FYI - That SMS card game is supposed to be the only one that won't work on a Power Base Converter & Sega Genesis combo. I'm curious if that is true or not.

Untrue.  I have that setup (Genesis + Power Base Converter) and this game works fine.  I wonder if it glitches or something after a game starts or something.  But for now, it looks good.

  4. rubber bands

I kind of hate the thought of moving my collection and will appreciate the insight you have after the move. I have heard of family help getting rather fatigue and complaining about "moving so much junk" even if carefully boxed and labeled.

I help my family move across town and the DAY OF THE MOVE is the day they start packing  :wreck-it-ralph:  ... oh well

do enjoy the day plan for pizza breaks "lets get this all loaded before the pizza arrives" -sorts thing , don't forget drinks :)

congrats on the new place

  5. This has been a great week for finds. I went back.to the same goodwill i found the freamcast at hoping i would find some games. Instead i found a SNES Batter Up baseball bat controller. Ive never seen one before. All the games are just empty cases they were about to throw away.

I also.found one of those N64 controller maze games. Although the ball is stuck on the side of the track and because of this the stick wont move the track. The screws are weird too. Looks like i need a triangle shaped screwdriver

    Nintendo security bit

    think I bought all 3 http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-8mm-4-5mm-Tri-wing-Security-Bit-Screwdriver-Nintendo-NES-SNES-N64-Game-Boy-/201824567832?hash=item2efdae8218:g:If4AAOSwdGFYqQVr

  6. I was able to try it on a MAME cab at a private collection , was kinda cool to see a parachute pop open ... I still got laughed at though  :pile:

    Rotate button.

I was at Funspot a few months ago.  Rather sad to see the sorry condition of some of the classic machines there.  I even wrote to Gary Vincent about it, but he never bothered to reply.

there are so many machines to try and keep up with there. all out for public play and abuse, they have a repair box with slips to fill out, that would be the best way to address issues.

I would used to find an employee and let them know by word of mouth, but would never get to be any official work order made. I think the repair slips will help but I hadn't read one yet ... will try and snag one and mebbe fill one out as well.

there are so many good working titles, they sometime to easily go unnoticed.

  7. I rarely find anything noteworthy in our local thrift store.  Yesterday was different!

Waddingtons Wizard, from 1979!  The box is in reasonably good shape, and I'm pretty certain all the contents are there.  I'll need to pick up some C batteries to see if it works, but the thing looks like it was never used.  But I'm not sure how that's possible given that "You can never be bored when you own the Wizard. . ."
