Justin got a reaction from Boris in OutRun! The ST port for Atari Jaguar!
I've always wanted to see Out Run on the Jaguar. I have one of the highest scores of all time on the arcade version performed in public. I hope to see this make some progress, this looks like a direct port of the Atari ST version which isn't as appealing as the Genesis version. With some more time this could be be excellent. If it's simply the ST version I'll pass on this but encourage them to keep working on it.

I totally relate to this. With the exception of the VCS I can't remember the last time I played a "modern" game. Literally a few years I think. Turbo Duo and Jaguar are about as modern as I get.

@Video 61 can weigh in on this more than I can - and maybe this would be an excellent topic for one of his unique Blog posts - but according to Lance, EPYX had a great many more Lynx games already in development that would've cost Atari very little to bring to fruition, but Jack Tramiel pulled the plug. Incredibly unfortunate.

Thank you to Jakub ‘Ilmenit’ Debski (original code), and Michal ‘stRing’ Radecki (music), for making a great game that deserves a bit more attention, and for their approval, feedback on music and other thoughts suggestions. Also, credit goes to Pawel ‘ripek’ Szewczyk for the artwork in the original version. Also, a special thank you to Lawrence Staveley (Reboot) for helping prepare the ROM for release.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m very happy with the Lynx. The homebrew scene is very active for it as well. Lots of great titles (OG and homebrew) to choose from.

The Atari Lynx may have a small library, but it's a good one

I know greatest game lists are subjective but the games are really good examples of the capabilities of Atari's little cat...

Oh and FYI THESE are my original carts, not much but a couple of nice titles, I cannot play Japanese Mahjong even if it had an option for English I don't know the game and a couple are GBC but I have the GBA SP to play those.

Welcome to the world of Game Boy modding. And photography! @MaximumRD I've had a lot of fun exploring what can be done. There's so much available now in terms of modding and making it your own, and hacking it to do really cool and fun things.

I should amend this to say that I have a Nintendo Switch and occasionally play games on there with my gf and family. Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening, and most likely soon Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Most all of those games are in the spirit of classic 8-bit and 16-bit games. The Switch gets used most to play NES and SNES games through the Nintendo OnLine service with an NES style controller. The new F-ZERO 99 is pretty incredible, and free!

I never really played Tempest 2000, some of my newer version tricks don't work here (such as triggering the superzapper after you've been grabbed). As such my scores haven't been nearly as good as on the other versions yet. Will start with this one: 275,842
